Hi
Our 2 year old female microchipped tortoiseshell cat called Trigger was lost from a cattery on 15th July.
We have tried everything, door to door knocking, leafletting, posters, notified the local councils, local vets, RSPCA, cats protection league, pdsa, advertised in local papers, gumtree, all websites and even the local radio and local rescue centres. the cattery are also out searching and leafletting.
We have set up a website - www.findtrigger.com
If anyone lives nearby to that area we would be so grateful if you could keep a eye out, we are totally distraught about what has happened.
Thanks so much
Anna

I think that is outrageous,i would have thought that the cattery had safety rules! I wish you the very best of luck in finding your poor cat must wonder what's happening+wondering where she is.

What a nightmare  I hope she is found safe and sound very soon
You have probably done most on this list but worth a look just in case there are any ideas that might help find her.

Update
Hi, thanks for the messages.
Just continuing to hope for some phone calls, it will only take just one successful one. We are back out again tonight searching, but so far no joy.
:-( But trying to keep positive. Amazing how easier it is to be negative, it almost takes more effort to be positive if that makes sense.
Thanks everyone
Anna

Anna,
my emergency vet is quite near you - Vet Now is at Clayhall and is part of the local PDSA. They are an out-of-hours hour service.
Might be worth sounding them out as they get a lot of the out of hours cases and might know something. The phone number is on the link here.

Fingers crossed for her, she's lovely.

Ooops I posted your wbsite in the lost and found general section after I saw your post on digi spy - hadn't seen this post and thought it wouldn't harm to have the link here! Good luck with your search. She is a beauty xx

So sorry you've lost your cat
I hope that you find her very soon. Along with all the other tips on the list it's a very good idea to go out calling in the early hours that has helped find lots of cats. Fingers crossed xx

UPDATE!!!!!
Found!!!!
I have the best news, we found Trigger at 8.30pm tonight less than a mile from the cattery.
I received a call from a lady who had one of our flyers and she thought she had seen Trigger last night. Everything sounded right about how she described her so we had such a good feeling about it. Went down at lunchtime and called and searched and knocked bowls but nothing.
So went down back at 7.30 calling again and the lady who called came out so we spoke to her. We decided to carry on walking towards the back of the brambles. My husband had the genius thought of going up on the pedestrian bridge over the a12 to just see over fences. We stood on the bridge and called her name and like a miracle we heard her very obvious whinge miow and we spotted her jump up on a fence. Well I have never seen Neil move so fast, he sprinted down the bridge and into the brambles whilst I stayed on the bridge and kept an eye out in case she went.
But didn't need to worry, she was as desperate to get to us that we were to her and Neil got her whilst she was miowing and trying to get off the fence to him. Its like a miracle. Just got back from the emergency vet, she has a fractured tooth and harvest ear mites but in good health otherwise.
The feeling of finding her after 14days non stop of looking is just phenomenal.
But a massive thank you to all those who responded on this forum, every message has been so kind and so supportive it's been a a massive help.
And to everyone else out there whose beloved pets are still missing I hope us finding trigger who went from a cattery will give you hope.
Thank you all so so much
Anna, Neil,Delboy, Rodney and of course Trigger.
