Hi

I've just joined the forum, I'm a volunteer for the Celia Hammond Animal Trust near Hastings and am fostering a mother cat and her 3 babies at the moment. I'm hoping to keep the Mum and one kitten but unfortunately no one is coming forward for kittens. So I have 3 very lively 13 week old kittens keeping me on my toes.

Hello there!  :welcome:

I'm new here too, but you're doing an amazing thing, and you'll make their lives so much better than they would be otherwise!

I bet there's never a dull moment with 3 kittens in the house :)  Would love to see a pic of mum and babies (if they are ever still enough to be snapped lol).

 :welcome: to Purrs   ;D

Glad you've found us, I'm sure you'll enjoy it here.  It really is a very friendly forum with lots of friendly helpful advice, if ever needed, and of course lots of fun.

I do feel it my public duty to warn you though that it can be a teensy bit addictive  You have been warned  :evillaugh:

Nice to have another rescue on board, would love to see pics of your fosters  :) Fingers crossed homes can be found for them

I think they're beautiful but I'm biased.

I've spent today sending out flyers and letters to local vets and pet shops, I've put up pictures on notice boards and they are on catchat. Unfortunately no one has seen them because I think anyone who does will fall totally in love. CHAT are so over run and busy at the moment they don't have much time to advertise so I thought I'd try to do everything I can.

It would be great if someone could have them soon before they are too big they are perfect at the moment but need lots of attention and 4 is a lot to play with.

Any advice regarding best places to advertise them etc would be good.

Good news, Willow and her Mum Mymble have gone to a lovely new home today. I'm feeling a bit upset as I'd got used to the idea of keeping Mum but the people have a garden (we live in a flat) and seemed really nice. It's my first time fostering so I'll probably get used to having to let them go. It doesn't help that I haven't got my own cat at the moment.

Well done! Homing is very slow at the moment all over the place.
Its always hard letting them go but its nice knowing you can help another lot.
Looking after the other two kittens will be easier for you.

:1st place: It's nice that they chose Mum and a baby over two babies  :)
