Title: Lost at Wigan
Post by: Grimalkin on July 01, 2011, 09:31:53 AM
Jasmine, our much-loved and very loving cat escaped from her fallen cat-carrier at Wigan Wallgate railway station last Friday. She was last seen running into an overgrown, wooded oasis between busy railway lines and roads.

She is two years old, short-haired, black with a white bib, chin and paws, long whiskers, and was wearing a HARNESS and LEAD at the time. We have had Animalsearchuk searching the area (very difficult) and putting up posters (offering a £50 reward). We have done all we can, and contacted the RSPCA, Cats Protection, local vets, etc. but desperately need more help. I can't sleep for the worry.

PLEASE keep your eyes open for any cat that fits her description anywhere with the area. We live in Southport so she could even be heading in this direction. If you have any information, please ring 01704 577613.

(I tried to post a photo here but it was too big. I'll try again when I work out how to make it smaller).

You can see her on these links:

I would recommend rosting her details on the National Pet Register www.nationalpetregister.org   as well.

Thanks, Sam. :thanks:  I tried to do this yesterday, but for some reason, my registration email never arrived.  I'll try again later today.  I'm going back to Wigan now, continuing my search.  It's all very tiring but I won't give up.  She must be somewhere!  I only hope she's well, and not trapped anywhere by her lead. Poor thing.  She's such a loving cat, and hates busy places.
