Hi All! I have just joined and am hoping I have found the home for cat lovers like me!
I'm approaching 40, married, HR Manager - with two 2-year-old cats, Trevor and Ruby. Trev is a short haired ginger and white tom, and Ruby is a small, long haired black princess. I adore them both and have always had cats. I have recently made the decision to work towards a change of career. I want to own a cattery - a top-notch, 5 star pad for the fussy felines, plus I am very interested in cat behaviour so hope, one day, to make this a career too. In the meantime, I will be studying all things cat and want to learn as much as I can because I truly believe this is my vocation and I cannot understand (and often mistrust) anyone who doesn't love cats as much as I do!
I hope to become a regular - looking forward to making some new and like-minded friends :naughty:

Hello and :welcome: to Purrs, as Gill said you seem to have found the right place :) . Trev and Ruby sound lovely, we could confirm this if you posted some pics ;)

Oh ok then!
Trev has matured into a gentle and chilled young man-cat; he smells gorgeous and loves nothing more than snuggling up next to us at night and purring us to sleep. Ruby is a bit more highly strung, adores Trevor and follows me everywhere. She's a proper attention seeker and loves to be carried on my shoulder. She is such a diva!
Yay! I can talk about my cats and not be annoying!! ;D

oh Trev is very regal looking! have to say the last two jobs i have got the cats got a mention at both interviews, can't have hurt lol!

Lol Gill - I'll tell trev and ruby they can come on and talk by themselves! They're already on Catbook!
Dawn F - I try sooo hard not to talk about them but I am commonly known as the mad cat lady! I think it shows people you have compassion and a very soft centre!
