;D Laura found her!! And the home that took Freddie is happy to give a home to this little girl too....so, transport needed from Wales (fairly sure it's Pembrokeshire) to Chesterfield, Derbyshire.
-
Happy? I'm over the moon!!
Yep, its Pembrokeshire...... :wow:
-
Sorry petrol costs too much at present, otherwise would help. although I find the link very confusing and seems to indicate already homed
-
that is good news. Happy to help again as long as it is a weekend but can only do weekend of 16th April or Easter as on holiday/away for the others
-
Posted on CC. I can do Leicester area to Chesterfield on a weekend.
-
Gill, Laura was always dubious about the message she received - so she kept a lookout. So far, no joy locating the other two but she's ecstatic she managed to at least find this girl.
Thanks for the offers of help. :)
-
Cazzer which stretch did you do again?
-
Bristol to Birmingham
-
So far covered:
Pembroke to Carmathen.
....
Bristol to Birmingham.
.....
Leicester to Chesterfield.
-
Original Run for Freddie:
From Laura to Sue
From Sue to Gill
From Gill to Cazzer
Here's a bit tricky - I THINK it's from Cazzer to a Facebook volunteer Sharon
From Sharon to another Facebook volunteer Rachel
To Jo!
-
Progress! Can people do this Sunday?
Sue: Pembroke to Carmarthen
Jane: Carmathen to Swansea
Lisa: Swansea to Bristol
Cazzer: Bristol to Birmingham
Charlene: Birmingham to Leicester
Moira: Leicester to Chesterfield
Jane and Lisa aren't Purrs members, but I can get their numbers very easily if everyone can do this. :crossed:
-
No JS, i did B-ham to Chesterfield with Freddie (and i'm not Charlene on FB,lol!)
If i'm needed, i can do Sunday, unless Charlene is a definate!
-
Sorry no as I said in my original post I can only do weekend of 16th April or Easter weekend due to other commitments.
-
Shirley, you aren't indeed. (Two of you offered but Charlene wasn't sure! Sorry. :shy:)
-
And Cazzer, forgot that! Have updated.
-
Just to confirm, I can do this Sunday. I have pm'd my contact details.
-
JS, i'm confused! On here Charlene is doing B-ham to Leics but on CC, it's me! :stupid:
-
Don't be confused! Charlene was the first to offer but only a maybe....we're counting on you for that bit. ;)
A bit more info has come to light and it's made things a bit more urgent so if you can all crosspost on Facebook and see if anyone on your friends lists can do the Bristol to Brum bit it would be massively appreciated.
-
Have already done, after seeing Sue's!
No probs doing my bit-will need Moira's number and whoever does the bit before me then-and post codes of course! ;)
-
Cazzer can't do this Sunday so we've got to sort that bit first...
-
Yeah i know....just in case there's a last minute offer!
-
Thanks Missus!
-
JS ~ I need Jane's number in case we have a last minute offer for Bristol to Brum :)
I think I still have Laura's number in my phone from Freddie's run.
-
I've just had a friend say they're in Bracknell tomorrow so if we could get her there then they'd be able to bring her all the way back to Chesterfield.....not sure if that helps or not!
-
OK - Bristol to Brum can be covered; but on Monday....can everyone else do Monday instead?
-
I can do Monday
-
Me too! :-:
-
:tired: Lisa can't....Don't worry, we'll get there. ;)
-
OK, we're aiming for Monday but yet again one part of the run is missing....so Swansea to Bristol needs covering if possible and then Shanti can be moved to safety tomorrow.
-
Monday:
Sue: Pembroke to Carmarthen
Jane: Carmathen to Swansea
Needs covering: Swansea to Bristol
Lauras friend: Bristol to Birmingham
Shirley: Birmingham to Leicester
Moira: Leicester to Chesterfield
-
Aaargh! I'm doing B-ham to Leics, JS ;)
-
If we can get her as far as Brum, Jos brother is happy to get a hire car and collect her from there....
-
Awww what a nice man-wish my brother was like that! :wow:, It's getting her to Brum that's the problem tho..... :(
-
Does seem to be - anyone got connections Swansea way?
-
If people can be on standby tomorrow that would be awesome - possible transport from Carmarthen to Bristol. :crossed:
-
Cool :wow:
Still need a contact number for whoever I'm handing over to tho...
-
Oh almost forget...
Is Shanti coming with a carrier or do we all need to provide one for our legs?
-
Good question Sue! ;)
-
Have asked about the carrier. :)
-
Lauras friend: Carmarthen to Bristol
Lauras friend: Bristol to Birmingham
Shirley: Birmingham to Leicester
Moira: Leicester to Chesterfield
Amended transport run - hopefully - fingers crossed. Sue, thanks for offering to help but hopefully someone's going all the way to Bristol. ;)
-
I'm confused JS :-: Am I the Sue you're talking about?
Is someone going from Pembroke to Bristol?
-
Will check in the morning. Off to bed now :tired:
-
Yes, you're the Sue I'm talking about. :) But you should probably ignore me, I've just realised you do the leg before Carmarthen. :tired:
-
JS have pmed you
-
Is Shanti coming with a carrier and if not does everyone know they need to provide one?
-
Have asked Laura, but she appears to have forgotten to tell me!
Gill sent you a message.
-
I don't have any messages from Gill :-:
-
My bad - that was my punctuation....should've read "Gill, sent you a message." :shy:
-
Shanti's on her way!!
-
Yaaah! Good luck everyone!
-
excellent news [just got home and had to find out what happened!] Good luck everyone!
-
Thanks Cazzer!
-
What an adorable little girl :Luv2:
Sooo small and a little whiffy but oh so affectionate :Luv2: We had some lovely cuddles while we waited for Gill :)
Jo you're a very lucky lady to be getting such a sweet little girl and I'm sure she'll thrive with you :)
ETA: Murphy hasn't left me alone since I got home. He's very interested in the smell of Shanti on his Mum's clothes
-
Shanti has arrived in Leicester. I am just about to start off for Chesterfield.
-
Well no one told Jenni that she needed a carrier and this caused real problems and hope that all the others knew cos I needed to bring my carrier back home.
As Sue said she is very gorgeous Jo and think she will go lovely with Freddie, sorry cant remember his new name.
She let off a couple of stink bombs and we stopped once before even reaching M4, cos thought she wanted to
use litter tray......she didnt and think she just wanted cuddles and out of the carrier.
I hope all the transfers went well, I am totally exhausted and need Jo to pm me please.
-
Aww Gill very stressful for you  and can totally understand the exhaustion...I'm in my jamas and ready for bed now :tired: :tired: :tired:
I think I'd have had kittens transferring to someone without a carrier  but thankfully it all worked out ok :)
Freddie is his new name...I'm not sure we ever knew his old name...and I bet he and Shanti will be all loved up very soon :evillaugh:
-
Shanti has reached Leics about 30 mins ago ;D
-
Shanti is now at Jos. Well done to all concerned, and Gill if you've not got the message yet Jo has sent you one on here and Facebook.
-
Brilliant! :wow: She's a gorgeous little girl! Never moved all the time she was with me, which was longer than it should've been cos of stupid sat nav and stupid me
Hope she has a lovely life with Jo and remembers Freddie :Luv2: :Luv2:
-
I have no pm on here from Jo, JS.
-
She said she was going to message you. Can only assume Shanti arrived a short time after our brief conversation earlier.
-
She did remember Freddie. When I let her out of the carrier at Jo's Freddie came into the room and she ran over and they sniffed noses. I know she is going to have a great time with Jo. Shanti is such a cutie and was very well behaved on the journey (although she did christen my fireplace whe I let her out for a run in my front room :) So glad she is safe now.
-
Well done everyone in getting Shanti to Jo's and reuniting her with Freddie :Luv2:
You are all stars :grouphug:
-
Thats great Moira and reckon she had been crossing her legs snce she was in my car!
So pleased she remembers Freddie ;D
-
Awww how lovely that Shanti remembered Freddie and ran up to him for a kiss :Luv2:
I'm looking forward to updates on how she settles in....and pics of course ;)
-
How sweet she remembered the gorgeous Freddie! :Luv2: How was he with her?
-
He seemed pleased to see her, too.
Looking forward to update, and pics.
-
Awwww bless him! :Luv2: :Luv2:
-
aww brilliant news :)
-
Apparently Freddie was put firmly in his place by a swift bop the other day; it's clear the big softie is destined to be bottom of the pecking order. ;)
Shanti relaxing...
-
she is gorgeous and that pic doesnt show how small she is ;D
-
right, i think i've sussed out the attachments thingy now so here you go for anyone who hasnt seen them on facebook :)
