I don't have many details yet...a friend of a colleague at work has been "kicked out" of her current accommodation and has nowhere for the cat to go.
Depending on the urgency I may need to get another pen set up in my shed until a home or rescue place is found...but I don't really want to do that.
Its an indoor cat...that's all I know.
I have asked to be put in direct contact with the owner so I can help find a suitable home.
Can anyone point me in the direction of any Bengal Rescues?
I will update once I know more

whereabouts in beds...... might be one for our new fosterer :shify:

Angie you've got a fosterer down in Beds?? I'm in Kempston, have no idea where this lady is but I'm guessing Bedford or pretty nearby. I could always help with transport if needs be
-

Oh ok! But if I could get it up to you...is that what you meant?
-
You're not that far from me so its not a problem. find out more about the cat - age , sex , location ..... the usual ....
-
I'm on it Angie :)
-
Owner still not contacted me yet
-
I've just had an update from my friend at work:
"Just to keep you up to speed, the cat has been granted a stay of
execution. Its at her mums on a weeks trial. If it fails its yours.
Cheers cat girl! :)"
See the name this site has got me!!
I'll keep you posted Angie

If the Bengal is from a reputable breeder there will be a signed contract to say that the cat should go back to the breeder.
-
I have no idea sheryl as I haven't actually got to speak to the owner yet and guess I won't if the trial works out and the cat stays with the mum. If she does need my help then that will be a question I ask :)
-
Angie, do you still have a a fosterer for this one?
-
Just checking...... whats happening now?
-
Just got off the phone to the owner.
She has contacted the breeder who is no longer breeding anymore but will take her back as a a last resort.
Ideally the owner would like her to go straight into a a new home with someone she knows (or friend of a friend/family friend etc) and doesn't really want her to go into a rescue place because of the type of cat she is.
If a home doesnt come forward then she will go back to the breeder.
For anyone interested in offering her a a forever home her details are as follows:
Cleo
Female Bengal
2 years old
Spayed
Up to date vaccinations (until feb 2011)
Indoor only cat
Has been living with two dogs
If anyone is interested and would like further information just let me know.

OK we'll stand down
