Title: URGENT .....East Yorkshire
Post by: Michelle (furbabystar) on September 05, 2010, 10:05:06 AM
One of my facebook friends got intouch with me last night ....

An injuried cat has come into her garden, she has rang CP and RSPCA and neither can help.
Cat is very thin and crying alot. A neighbour took it in last night but that can't happen again tonight (don't know why)

Cat is in East Yorkshire

Can anyone help please ?

Hi

If this cat is injured it surely should be taken to a vet for assessment.  If it's a stray, most vets down here at least will check it over and then do a ring round the rescues for funding help if it needs further treatment.

Modified to add:  actually, on reflection you might need CP or RSPCA to agree funding first but the little chap does sound in need of vet attention.

:( Poor thing.  I would take him to a vet and would hopefully think that they would contact a rescue they deal with and sort someting out but definitely get to him a vet.

Poor thing - surely one of the big rescues would agree to pay for assessment and pain relief?

I really can't stand the idea of any animal suffering  :'(
