hello,
thankyou for a very warm welcome. My name is Lesley and I live in Pontefract west yorkshire and I have 2 cats, Suzy and Amber. On 24th July 2010 suzy went missing, I am very worried as she has never strayed before and she has lived with us for 5 years. Could I please ask everyone to keep an eye out for her we realy miss her and so does Amber. She is black and white.

Sorry to hear Suzy is missing.  Have you put a post on the "lost thread".  Also please have a look at the hints and tips for things to do to get her back home: http://www.purrsinourhearts.co.uk/index.php/topic,305.0.html

The most important thing is to get as many posters and flyers out ASAP.

Keeping everything crossed that you find her soon

I have put posters all over pontefract, in post offices, pubs,on posts in lots of streets I have had an advert in the local paper, I rang the refuse department and railways to see if they had found her injured, I have put her on websites, she is micri-chipped but still nothing. I cant explain how upset I feel, you see she chose to live with us. 5 years ago our 17 year old cat Oscar died so after some time we said maybe we would go get a black and white cat about maybe 2 years old then would you believe a few days later Suzy turned up in our garden, we have 8 dogs and she just walked in the house among them the vet said she was about 2. No one claimed her so she has been here ever since its as if she was sent to us and I feel  I am letting her down not being able to find her

Hiya.. I know this is a long shot...but i noticed ur post about your own cat been missing.. I just wondered if you ever found her? This may seem daft since it was 2010 when she went and most likely to have found her.. I live in Knottingley which isnt to far from you and a female black and white cat appeared in my street from nowhere..she was very under-weight so i have taken her in..not sure of her age but i dont think shes a young cat. I would be really grateful if you would let me know your outcome..so i can take her to be scanned for microchip n hopefully find her family.  :thanks:

I just checked mollypy's other posts and it seems that she found her cat not long after she went missing
