Title: Gizmo - looking for a new home - Chesterfield, Derbyshire (Sorted)
Post by: JackSpratt on July 28, 2010, 11:12:27 AM
This was on Chesterfield Freecycle today:

It is with heavy heart that I am having to rehome 2 of my female cats due to the fact that 1 of them has become very unsocial and the other one has started to refuse to eat and keeps herself away from us and the other cats. I have taken both cats to the vets and they have informed me that they are not happy with my cats even though they used to play together at one time.

Gizmo is a tortie female who is approx 6 mths old
Mia is a black/white female who is approx 1 yr old.

They are both indoor cats and are used to other cats, Mia can be shy at first but then very affectionate once she gets to know you. I would like if possible for both of them to go together as they have become good friends.

Further correspondence revealed both Mia and Gizmo are not spayed, (  :tired: ) and are good with children but untested with dogs. If you can offer Mia and Gizmo a home, please PM me for contact details.

OK, a little more info. Gizmo is "most like" a light torti (I sent pictures of the three varients I'd seen the most of) and Mia is the girl struggling to cope with the amount of other cats in the house. (Not sure how many there is.)

Bumping. This lady doesn't seem to have any intention of spaying the cats "as they're indoor only." :tired:

This girl has been relisted on Freecycle. If anyone can offer her a home, please get in touch quickly and I can give you the contact email address.

She has a lovely nature and she loves to have a cuddle and play. She is brillant
with kids and other cats. She needs to go to a home where there is 1 or none
cats as she loves her attention. She is cat litter trained and she is an indoor
cat. She has not been spayed but has been wormed and fleaed.

Please only reply if you are 100% interested in Gizmo as i do not want her to go
to just any home.

Interesting to see she's "good with other cats" but needs to go to a home where there is one or no other cats....

Unless she is fine with other cats but other cats bully her so may be one other feline friendly cat would be ok?

that all I can think it can be or an error.

I was told she was nervous in this ladys home due to the sheer amount of other cats. (The lady wouldn't tell me how many that was.)

She was bonded to a cat called Mia, but it seems Mia has been rehomed without her. I feel this is a fairly desperate situation, but have nowhere I could care for a cat that doesn't like being in a multicat household....
