Its never easy voting in our Cat Show and this year seemed particularily difficult cos every cat was so wonderful ;D
The Purrrs Top Cat for 2010 is the wonderful Mikey who has touched so many hearts and really sums up our forum name and is definately a Purr in our Hearts :Luv2:

Thank you to all slaves for entering your furrbies in the Cat Show cos without all of you we would not have had so much difficulty in voting :hug: :hug:
We have made approximately £240 for our rescues and the actual amount will be put up when Tan returns cos the Paypal fees have to be taken off the entry amounts.
So thats it for another year and midsummer is here, hope you all have a good summer and cuddles to your little furry helpers :cat rub: :catlove2: :catplay2:

Congratulations Mikey and the other winners, sure you'll have a great time picking out prizes from the shop! I've already started taking my pictures for next year ;) Darcy says he definately wants to be in it next year as he turned up about a week too late this time!

So there you have it......Mikey would like other rescue cats to benefit from his good fortune (and handsome good looks and rugged charm :rofl: :rofl:) and I will make sure that he gets a little something when Dillon goes on line to order (have to keep an eye on him you know what these little whipper snappers are like!lol)
I also would like to finish by saying a HUGE thank you to Gill and Rosella (and Tan for having to sort out all the money).....the amount of work that has gone into the show is just incredible....I'm sure you all deserve a good rest and to put your feet up for a few days now :hug:

Just got back from hols so missed the final but Riley says :thanks: :thanks: :thanks: :thanks: for his special award - he was all set to choose his toys but then I told him what Mikey and Haggis had decided to do and he said what a lovely idea it was so he would also like his prize to go back into the rescue fund :)

Thanks Gill but he's made his mind up and won't be swayed with talk of toys :naughty: He knows he's lucky to have a home and a family that love him as not all cats can say the same :( Luckily for those cats the wonderful rescues, like those on Purrs, exist :)

Well done to Riley, Haggis, Dillon and the fabulous Mikey! :1st place: Everyone is a winner though cos they are all stunning puds and so hard to pick a winner. I missed out on the final voting as pc access has been a bit difficult lately due to my new job. But at least it saved me some difficult decisions!

Just had a lovely PM from Tan to say that Paws Inn has had £37 transferred in from proceeds of the Cat Show. A huge thankyou to everyone who took part and helped raise so much for needy ones and an enormous Thankyou to Gill for organising it and doing the hard work.
This money will pay for Lily to be spayed in the next week Thankyou All. :hug:
