Crossposted:

Transport needed from Leeds area for 20 laboratory rats who are lucky enough to be released from their torturous existence! Can anybody help move them from Leeds area to Surrey? A further 30 lab rats are seeking rescue spaces if anybody can help!

Have been told by Emma she's the last resort and is hoping that closer rescues will step up and help these little ones. So if anyone uses other rescue sites, please cross post.

HI JS

Just seen your recent posts. Have not contacted anyone as although I can get up the M1 but probably as far as Northampton. Also, Not sure if I can get 20 rats in my car - suppose it depends on no. of cages and sizes.

So it looks like transport from Leeds to Northampton is required?

An alternative depending on the Coulsdon rescue's position, and if they have any drivers,  I would be more than happy to donate some funds so that they can hire a van to get these animals to safety. So don't know if that is an option for them. Its a long drive to go up to Leeds and come straight back again. But could be an option if they have more than one person who could drive the van.

Don't know if any of this helps

Will copy and paste this on Emmas wall and see what she says. :) I think it's a really generous offer, Edd.
