Title: Oliver - 9yr old Red Birman
Post by: StreetKatzRescue on December 30, 2009, 10:40:41 AM
Oliver is a 9 year old red Birman male.  He is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped and is a full pedigree with papers.  Oliver is being rehomed because his owner has moved to a country lane which has proved to be a fast cut-through and it's too risky to let Oliver roam freely in the garden.  So his new home should have a safe garden where Oliver can potter and take the air!

Oliver is very friendly and affectionate and adores company. He would love an adult only home where someone is at home most of the day or a family with older children.  He is not used to either cats or dogs so should be an only pet.

How old is "older children?" There's a lady looking for a siamese, birman or havana cat on CatChat.

I think teenagers (13+) would be ok ..... somebody who's not going to chase him and get mega excited!   :wow:

Kids can adapt to cats, and vice versa  :) Im sure 6 years is old enough for a child to know how to behave around a cat  :)

I think it depends on the child and how prepared the parent is to teach their child. (Sadly, not all mums are like you, CC. ;))

Truthfully, I don't know as his owner decided to let Birman Rescue try to rehome too so it's probably ok to remove.  Thanks!
