I have two new kittens (not sure of the sexes) coming in to me tomorrow morning due to their owner moving on Monday, she basically emailed me and said if I didn't take them they would be abandoned at the house on Monday when they moved. Well I had no hesitation in saying I will take them. Both black about 20 weeks old, wormed and flea's but not had their vac's. I don't know what state they will be in. Only good point is she is going to make a donation for me to get vac's etc done. Off to set up the kittie room ready for their arrival, currently full of my partners tools as we have been putting new flooring down whilst we are empty of rescues!. Will post a picture as soon as I can.

Great and look forward to the pics ;D

Just got the two babes home and settled in the downstairs bathroom. Am concerned though as they seem a little on the thin side and one has a limp off to vets tomorrow. Food and water has been woofed down. They are georgous all black (haven't had time yet to sex) kitties who seem eager for cuddles. Hope I can find these babes a really good home soon.
-
Good luck at the vets tomorrow  look forward to photos :)
-
Hope they find a lovely forever home once you've got them in peak condition :)
-
Well took the babes to our local vet and both turn out to be little girls actually around 1yr (ish) old. The limp turned out to be nothing and the little un is walking fine today. I am now flumfed as need to find the pennies for them to be vacc and neutured (our last rescue needed a c-section so we are all out of rescue pennies other than for food), the lady said she would forward me a cheque but I won't hold my breath. Anyone have any suggestions in raising pennies to get these girlies done so can go to new home?
-
Could you not contact the local CP for vouchers?
-
Already done, they are very snotty and said no. :-[
-
Really? Did you call your local branch? If so, try calling HQ and explain you're trying to help these two get a new start. I've got vouchers for cats I've taken on from free sites from there before.
-
Thanx I'll try tomorrow, I was told by some very snooty lady on the end of the phone that as I'm not keeping the cats and going to re-home I need to be self-sufficient and not rely on genuine charities such as themselves. T :tired:
-
Don't mention you're going to rehome them then. ;) The end justifies the means..... And the girls need to be safely spayed before going anywhere. ;)
-
it annoys me that some branches are like that - the idea is to get cats spayed. It doesn't matter which ones  - I would phone HO and complain about the branch's attitude!
-
I've now trying to see if I can raise the funds myself (see my book sale). Determined these pussies will get the best possible care possible and a true forever home xx
-
You could always just give up the cat tent ;) :evillaugh: :sneaky:
-
Lol ...... the cat tent is from personal funds for our very own pussys, the kitties care is via Tamar Rescues which a seperate account but thanx for the suggestion :innocent:

Please call me - I can arrange for the neutering to be done, you're not a million miles away from me. My website is www.lbgpr.co.uk with email and contact details.
Hope I can help Louise x

-
Sending positive healing vibes for their op's tomorrow~~~~~Best of luck! :Luv2:
-
Took Sissy and Missy into the vets first thing this morning just waiting now till I can bring them home tonight....... good news possibly is the nurse who signed them in knows someone looking for a pussy cat after their cat died of old age 6 months ago she is going to tell her about these two sweeties.
-
That would be wonderful - a spay and a home sorted out in one vet visit! ;) Hope the spays are stress free for the two little ones.
-
Two pussies now home but not happy due to the buster collars they have to wear :'( a night of pampering and much cuddles ahead xx

Hello
We're Missy and Sissy and currently we're staying with Asia Snow until a new 4ever home is found for us. We love to play but most of all we love lots of cuddles. We follow Asia round the house demanding all of her attention. We would be happy in a cat secure garden but we do love being indoors and being able to cuddle up on the sofa or bed with our slave! Asia went to take some piccies of us but her camera is broke!! We are both neutured ;) and Asia is going to sort us out something called injections but we don't like the sound of those, she has also put something called flea drops on us and made us swallow horrible pink things called wormer :'( . We want to go together as we have spent all our short lifes together and love each other. Sissy likes playing with small children whilst me (Missy) can take or leave them and prefer adult company. We aren't sure of dogs as they make far too much noise  We are all black and just need a new home to call our own.
Please can you help :wow:
