I posted about this little cat that has appeared in our street.
We'll i have just come back home from the vets.
A little girl, approx 4-5mth old. The vet has wormed and flea'd her.
Putting posters out, to see if she is lost, but in the mean time, she is safe wiith us :Luv2: :Luv2:
-
Aw bless you! Looking forward to seeing the pics of this little girl! ;)
-
Shame there aren't more like you around
What happens if nobody comes forward to claim her? :shify:
Maybe you should keep some info back in case somebody claims her under false pretences?
-
Yeah, we have taken her collar off as its distinctive
(so if someone reckons she is their cat, then they would know the collar)
My vet was really good, he didnt charge us, but he does reckon he will see her again soon :innocent:
Have contacted the local animal shelter, the local police said they do nothing & didnt want to know.
Mick and me are disgusted in that
She has has sone food, bless she was starving and cleaned all the bowls, had a drink of felix milk
now she has settled on the settee, but fighting her sleep.
But who know's she might want to adopt us.
She aint got a name yet, because we dont know whats going to happen.

Yeah, we have taken her collar off as its distinctive

I tried that - called a dog "Pup" for ages to make it easier when I found him a home.....it didn't. ;) Give the girl a name, she deserves one. :) She's lovely.

Pod is wary of her, Rolo is settled on the rug looking up watching her,
Flora is on the other end of the settee. They are all being ever so good :Luv: :Luv: :Luv:
She is very thin & light weight :(
-
Oh my....She is so loving this isnt she....cant believe how relaxed she is already.... :wow: :Luv2:
Tina that's a brilliant head manouver on your behalf! :evillaugh:
-
Shes a stunner :Luv2:
-
Lovely girl :Luv2:
Very much like my Saffron I used to have :)
-
We had a very similar situation about 8 years ago with a back boy we nicknamed Fred-cat....................................took him to the vets , de=-fleae and wormed him , put posters up and contacted the rescues hoping he had a owner somewhere.
He is currently chasing Jerry around the front room and still answers to the name Fredcat! :evillaugh:
-
She has had a nice sleep & another meal & used litter :Luv:
But she had cleared her bowl, went & tried what the others had &
is growling & hissing at my 3. Pod was wary, but now is tryin to get close to her,
but has started hissing & growling back.
It was not like this when we brought Flora in.
This time all seems more agressive :scared:
Could this be a case that she is not spayed ?
-
Yes...They view other cats as potential mates and if they are not ready to accept at that time they will display anger! ;)
At 5 months she should be stating to get the emotions....she looks very friendly, maybe that is a part of her readily affection! :sneaky: ;)
-
What a cutie - she needs a name though
She is maybe justa wary round bigger cats - our mob being ever accommodating will accept kittens or very young cats but we can't being anything in the 5 - 10 year age range - older or younger as our middle crew are not accepting of things their own age
Plug in the ferliway get the rescue remedy in the water and please name this gorgeous girlie!!!!!!!
-
Wow, she is gorgeous! :Luv2: Looks very much like a little calico my mom had for about 22 years, beautiful colors.
-
She's a gorgeous little girl isn't she :Luv2: and obviously is loving having humans to cuddle up to :Luv2:
Hopefully the hissing etc is just due to hormones :Luv:
-
Awww what a lovely little lady :Luv:
-
What a lovely little sweetie :Luv: :Luv: :Luv:
Hope you find her owner otherwise money's on a repeat of Kirst's Fred (Freda?) cat story :innocent:
-
After ringing rescue's nd vets, and puttin posters out.
He owner rang. Because we put the posters up in black n white, her ginger torty bits looked different.
But her owner described her colouring & her red collar with the bow.
Her name "Lexi"
The girls mother lived where we put a poster up on a telegraph pole.
So, thats it. Lexi is back home. Told her not to let her out for a few days at least, as she may come back, as had an obsession with across the roads parrot
and she climber thru thu the kitchen window to get closer to it.
My 3 were little darling and accepted her into the gang, but Lexi was a little hiss n growl bag :Luv2:
-
Aw that's great that she has been claimed, though I bet you have mixed feelings on it!
-
I suppose it is good - I hope they were suitably grateful :evillaugh:
She is young to be out & about? - Hopefully she has been spayed?
-
I was kind of sad to hand he over.
The girl was at her mothers which is at the entrance of the estate.
She said she lived across the road  but she gave her mam's address for us to take Lex back.
See, describing her collar, and marking proved she owned the her.
They said thanks, and how much do i owe you :-:
-
Awwww, its good that she's gone back home, but even in just a few days you can get attached to them
-
Aw! Im glad she is back with her owners but I do hope they now keep her in till a while after she is spayed! ;D
