Tilly is a beautiful grey tabby girl who is being rehomed due to the other cat in the house not accepting her. She is spayed, vaccinated, flead and wormed.
Tilly doesn't seem to have an issue with other cats, or the dogs she shares her home with.
If you can offer her a home, please get in touch. (She's currently listed on one of the free sites we all love so much!)

She is beautiful and i would have tried for her but i have a pregnant mum coming into my spare room on wed so havent got anymore room as i also have Chilli and Dave

I know, BL - you can't take on more than you have space for. Feel free to ask around; I sent my cousin who took ember the picture to try and sway her - I think if they weren't moving soon she'd have snapped her up!

How old is the wee one Jack?

She's three - four this year. I think she's utterly stunning and would seriously consider taking her myself but Jack's due a dental really soon and don't want to cause him any more disruption than he's going to have.

If it means a good home the Purrs family work together to make this happen via a rely of transporters, give JS a PM and im sure she will be able to tell you more :hug:

Just read it Lisa. Have emailed the lady to ask if I'm right and Tilly hasn't been rehomed since she last contacted me, and if that's the case will see how she'd be with your home environment.
What other pets do you have? And would you mind me passing on a phone number to the lady so she can chat to you about where Tilly would be going?

do you mean my cat or tilly ? my cat im in the process of getting vouchers to get her done as ive only had her a few weeks , and tilly is spayed .

They are indeed - watch her.... demure ladylike cats act surprisingly tarty when they're in season. ;)

lol , we are in the process of sorting it , no kittens here thankyou :wow: only had her a few weeks last owners never got her done as they said she is a housecat so no need >:(

It would be best if she stays 100% house cat until shes sorted out :shy: holding off introducing another cat until after her op would also be a good idea

Because usually a cats temperament becomes a little more relaxed after a spay or neuter. (Usually!) It makes introductions a little easier if the cats are chilled out to the max. ;)

is it still ok for me to have tilly as it feels as if im getting negative comments on here at the moment :'(

I'm sure that's not the intention, Lisa, in fact, as I read it, it's pretty positive. What members are trying to say is that before you take Tilly on, get Rosie spayed first so that she is a little more chilled by the time Tilly arrives, if she's a suited fit for your home. Rosie may (it does happen) be more aggressive towards Tilly so may make introductions difficult.

we are definitely getting rosie done , im just waiting for her to have a season as the previous owner never told me when her last one was and i can no longer get in touch with them , im also waiting on cats protection to ring me about rosie vouchers , ive only had her a few weeks so its all in hand . :) .

Lisa if you can get her done before her season as believe me you dont want to have to listen to her howling and throwing herself round the house for days on end, i found out the hard with with my oriental Kali, and if she does have her season most vets wont spey till its over because of side effects so please save yourself and her from this :hug:

in that case i will get onto cats protection monday about my vouchers and get her done ;D

Believe me Lisa its distressing to watch them, when Kali had her season there was no warning she just went beserk throwing herself on the floor ,against the door and the window trying to get out, crawling along the floor with her bum in the air trying to tempt my other cats (all of whom are done ) anything to relieve the ache she had to mate, not to mention the horrible howling that went with it :evillaugh:

didnt realise that i didnt have to wait for her to have a season to get her done , but from your description im onto cats protection 9 am monday morning lol , ;D

I had a female Siamese who came into her first season before I had a chance to have her spayed, and she used to jam her posterior up against the (locked) cat flap in a vain hope a tom would find a way through it - funny but not nice to see your lovely pet behaving like that :sick:

Hi Lisa - received this today:
"Yes I have found Tilly a wonderful new home she went yesterday and is going to get spoilt something rotten. She is the only cat and the lady is a real cat lover. many thanks for your help."
In the time between correspondences a new home was found.
Of course, now that means you're free to help another cat that needs you. ;) :hug:

There's (sadly) always more cats needing good homes than good homes - if you can offer that little one on the free site a safe haven, go for it! ;)

it was someone apparently selling it for her sister , when i was asking questions like has it had its jabs or been spayed , or even been to the vets at all , they seemed to know nothing about it , they just kept saying how much could you pay for it , and saying things like it food and litter is running out , seemed a bit strange to me , more interested in the money than the cat i think , i asked is it good with children or other cats and they didnt know but they said they had to sell it cause the daughter had asthma .

I agree. You're in Coventry aren't you Lisa? Can you PM me the phone number? I'll send it to one of the rescue workers in the area, see if they can talk the people round to getting her into rescue. ;)
