Howie is a 2 year old ginger and white boy with a distinctive white band around his nose. He never came home to Mansewood in the South side of Glasgow last night. He spends a lot of time outdoors and we normally stay up for him coming in between 10-11 p.m but last night he never came home. I'll start leafleting the neighbours tomorrow if he hasn't shown up. His sister is upset. :( So are we. :'(
The lamposts on our street seem to have had missing cat posters up a lot. Could urban foxes have taken him?

I've printed off a load of leaflets, so I'll start leafleting tomorrow if he hasn't showed up.

Thanks Dawn. I have noticed he's been spending more and more time outside in the good weather. I'm gonna pound the streets tonight shouting on him and I'll maybe sit in the garden for a bit and listen for any Howie noises.
He's such a daft boy - I hope he's safe...

I've just leafleted every house in the neighbourhood and someone tried to ring my mobile (withheld number and didn't leave a message >:() so fingers crossed. The house feels empty without him. :'(

Still no news :(
Went round the neighbourhood shouting on him at 3 o'clock this morning. Met loads of other sweet cats, but no Howie.
Time to widen the leafleting campaign and start knocking more doors.

Hi everyone! Howie is home safe and sound. :wow:
He was locked in the neighbours garage which our neighbour searched on Wednesday! We head him crying as we were about to get into the car last night. We think he heard our voices and started crying. He was hungry, thirsty and very glad to see us and his sister, Willow.
Thanks for all the positive vibes (which I'm sure Howie picked up during his time in the garage). :doh:
Thanks also for the great advice available on this forum, ESPECIALLY the bits about searching thoroughly close to home first. Also the bit about talking while out searching - missing or trapped cats will hear you and call out !!!
