The Sheffield Cats home is not that bad is it? They do have a web site, although  I appreciate that does not ensure a wonderful place.. I  know there is a man in Sheffield that takes cats in and the conditions as terrible. Having said that there are many such places like that all over the country.

no of course not that is not what I meant.

I don't understand why we are thinking about putting the cats in Sheffield cats centre when Sarah can take them immediatly.?

I am concerned that

a)they risk catching lots of nasty things at the centre which puts Sarah's cat at risk (any place Vets or Cat rescue centres have lots of bugs and things )

  b) why take them to the centre for a few days then transport them to Sarahs. Its sure to upset them them all that to ing and fro ing if its not necessary ?

am I missing something here ?

I am getting confused now. I thought they were on the list at the Sheffield cat Shelter and I offered to take the cats if  the Sheffield cat shelter do not take them in by the end Dec deadline. I am away from 19 Dec to 4 Jan so I thought someone was having the little ones from end Dec - 4 Jan, that is if the Sheffield cat shelter had not by that time took them in.

Steve and I visited the Sheffield Cat Shelter a few months ago and the cats were in a nice environment  They are in rooms in a kind of large house and so many cats to a room.  The workers there seem to sit with the cats quite alot and they were really nice people.

Please everyone I was not suggesting anything bad about the Sheffield centre at all  I am certain they are wondrful folk

If you read my posts I was suggesting that all centres and vet clinics, catteries  and sanctuarys etc wherever there are a large amount of animals together must increase the risks of contracting illnesses this is an unfortunate fact of life.

You only have to look at the MRSA situation in hospitals lol
