Title: vets
Post by: ronandcats on April 20, 2009, 15:13:16 PM
We have just had our vet bill in for March and its the biggest i have ever known its a whopping £2,900.80. i think the vet thinks we are made of money i know we had some bad cases last month and it was taking in stray and lost cats for vacs and spayding and so on but  the vets  are killing all the small rescuing centers,we are now struggling to hold our own, luckily we have had a good year so far in homing 49 cats into new loving homes since Christmas and fostering out six oldies and at pressant only have one mum with 5 kittens and 8 strays in our pens and it seems quite on the phone at the moment and its the least cats we have ever had at any one time, so we are keeping our fingers crossed, but you all know how fast things can change.

Crikey, I hope you can have a relatively good year, that is an incredibly large vet bill.

when i took this little girl to the vet over 2 years ago he told me i should have her put to sleep she had been attacked by foxes and could not use her back legs and was over 17 yrs old, I told him I would take her back home with me and let her spend her last few weeks with me in the comfort of my home we called her Foxey, But now i call her Ragbag as she never seems to clean herself, but she now runs around the garden and i am shore she will still be around nexed year bless her
