Saffy is a bit more reserved but they are slowly getting used to being able to move without being in pain. Little saffy doesn't lift her head much but I think that's due to the bad matting she had previously to be honest which was severely restricting her movement so she has still to get used to being able to move freely. It just makes it very difficult to photograph her.... where as oor wee Amber is quite happy in front of the camera!!! lol

fantastic home with a owner having over 20 years experience of persians and they will join her existing persian Alfie. We wish the girls all the luck in the world in their new home where we are sure they will be spoilt which they thoroughly deserve.

Post by: madkittyrescue on March 06, 2009, 16:23:08 PM: Yes it is brilliant that they are staying together. They have just left this afternoon for their long 4 hr journey to their new homes where we know that they are going to be spoilt rotten and have the wonderful life they deserve.

We had both really fell for Sapphire I have to admit and OH did mention if I thought the new slaves would notice if we replaced her with a certain red persian! lol

Good luck girls.... we'll miss you.

There again I also think those that arrive in a bit of a state always tend to leave a mark on your heart really and they were especially Sapphire so to see her so happy and content and then move her on again you do feel a little bad, well I do! silly I know. But I know they are going to a wonderful home where they will be very very happy and spoilt and that is what matters at the end of the day.

Funnily enough I did get a call from the previous owner this morning to ask how they were and they were shocked to hear I was homing them together because they were close. She thought they hated each other! :tired: but there again... cats that hate each other always groom each other don't they! ;)
