From the national pet register - I have contacted the finder.
The cat i have found is a young un neutered male, black and white, black rear with a sort of stripe of white, with white legs. He has a mostly white face with a black diamond on his nose. He is dreadfully matty and had fleas when i got him. He is very soft and good natured cat, with a very dry husky miaow. He is not chipped and did not have a collar on him when i found him. He is a very attractive cat. If this is your cat please, please call me as i have a cat already and she is terrified of him. email me or call please melaniecheckley@blueyonder.co.uk or call 07886 400658. Thank you.

Response from the finder:
Hi Sam, Thanks for the advice. I've got him indoors, so please don't
fret. I won't let him go to the RSPCA, not now anyhow. Welcat in Quinton
have said that they will take him but not till about Tuesday.
I have taken him to my cats vet to see if he's chipped, but he's not.
Thank you for your help.

Hi Sam
I've emailed Melanie as there was a poster in my vets about a missing long haired black & white male cat and we are a not a million miles from Northfield/Quinton area. Long shot but worth her making a telephone call
