Title: Mister Magoo ~ older chap looking for E Essex/south Suffolk (Unknown Outcome)
Post by: Millys Mum on January 29, 2009, 12:32:44 PM
Mister Magoo
A quirky older chap approaching 12 years old, looking for his forever home.
Neutered and microchipped, has had £500 of vet work sorting out his mouth and ears, which sadly had to be amputated due to cancer. All the cancer was successfully removed but his new owner will need to monitor his ears just incase there is a return of the problem.
Gooey has had senior blood tests and has been given the thumbs up for internal health.

Being a white cat he will need protection from the sun on his remaining exposed areas, he doesnt particularly appreciate this so his new owner needs to be an experienced cat person capable of dealing with any temper tantrums!

Looking for a quiet home, no children or cats and definately no dogs. Magoo is a sociable chap so would like somebody who is around part of the day but wont force cuddles on him, he likes being stroked and tickled on his terms! Must be allowed to sleep on beds, this is his fav spot!

Magoo is a fussy chap so must be found the right home, if not he will just up and leave again  :(

Donation would be much appreciated and homecheck essential so therefore i cant rehome outside of the area marked on the map.

Edited to add pic

Why Mister Magoo is looking for a new home? Is it because he needs to be the only cat?  :Luv:

Why Mister Magoo is looking for a new home? Is it because he needs to be the only cat?  :Luv:

He turned up last May as a stray, his 'owners' were located by my neighbour, they were new to the area and had got a 2nd puppy which he wasnt happy about so he left home  :( they collected him twice but the next morning he would be back again and then they just didnt bother showing up for him.
It was obvious he hadnt seen a vet on a regular basis  >:(

My neighbour took him in over the summer but was waiting to be evicted, she said she wasnt able to take him with her and one night they were gone so we became his replacement family. I have 6 cats already and my dad wont allow anymore permenant ones ( :shify: ) so hes been sorted out as a rescue and is now ready to rumble. He tolerates my cats although isnt 100% with them, his ideal happy home is without other animals so i have to try and find him this. Unlike Dexter Gooey has manners around my lot and he understands my dad is weak and can sometimes be worn down over time  :evillaugh:
