Title: cats needing new homes help (HOMED)
Post by: tan160581 on November 10, 2008, 14:30:46 PM
sadly i have to rehome 3 of my 7 cats due to a relationship breakdown and moving to a smaller place and i wont be able to afford to feed them - i am keeping 4 but just cant see how i could feed 7 cats and fit them in a 1 bedroom place i think it would do there heads in

i have half a siamese cat who is nervous, has been since the day i got him not used to children or dogs and 3 years old

a black fluffy cat 2 years old who is the same as the half siamese (toby) must go together

and a ginger cat 1 year old and very small, goes outside and esp friendly and chatty and loves cuddles - i would like them to go together but i have to be realistic and aubrey could go by himself as he is very independent weras the other 2 keep each company as they are housecats

thanks

So sad for you but I'm sure that you are doing the best things for your kitties. What area are you? Have you got some pictures of the others?

i do as well,:) thing is i only wanted to advertise them here as i know that people here are genuine cat lovers, i would hate someone from the paper to have them and then may get rid of them at a later date - i guess i am just really fussy where they are concerened

hi

i have rehomed 2 of my cats bob and toby to a friend of mine who lives in the country and has a cat flap so that they come and go as they please, she is a stay at home mum and they are getting on very well there, even through they were indoor with me, ithey like the  freedom of sitting on the doorstep and being out so i have been told

and eric he has gone to a couple in there 50s that only like to rescue old cats and cats that people dont like, they live out in the sticks only house for miles around in a converted church and the wife is at home, and all the children grown up, i have visteted there before i took him and have visted twice since to see he was getting on okay, they have another 2 elderly cats which he gets on with and a parrot and he is a indoor cat there, but loves to look outside the window and watch the pheasents run by and is fasinated by the parrot aparently
