Title: Suki, tortie who had run in with car, Canterbury CP HOME FOUND
Post by: Canterbury_cats (Sharon) on October 22, 2008, 08:32:42 AM
Oooh, hello there, thanks for stopping by to visit. Hope you haven't brought grapes, I'm a cat, I wouldn't mind a mouse or two though! Why am I here you ask? Well there I was walking on the big tarmac path minding my own when a big metal zoomy monster chased me and caught up rather too quicky. Don't worry, I'm getting better now thanks to some very nice humans who took me to the v.e.t to get mended. They say I'm making wonderful progress but I will probably have a limp. The whole experience has left me a bit wary of zoomy metal things so if you have a home that's on the quiet side in that department then that would be lovely. Whilst we're chatting about my forever home, I'd just like to tell you that I'm rather a fan of seats. Human laps are suitably heated and often come with a stroky-arm attachment so lots of those please and plenty of other cosy seating areas for me to relax in. I like human friends, even small ones if they're not too noisy but I'm not too sure about other felines or muts, they might steal the laps! Please let my wonderful fosterhuman know if you have a purrfect home for me. See you soon xx.

To offer all the laps in the house to this plucky lady, please call: 01227 360432 (may go to answerphone at certain times of the day) or email: canterburycpl@btopenworld.com (please include your telephone number and location in emails)

Suki may always have a dodgy leg now and walk abit weird, her leg has healed up but it does feel kind of stange and knobbly... She is due to start her vac course asap and is chipped and spayed already. A home away from main roads is essential for this one as she has already used up one of her nine lives. Suki is 5 yrs old and was previously owned but the owners could not afford to treat her and she was due to be PTS until we stepped in and she was signed over to us

All homes will be homechecked so if we rehomed outside the area then we will need cooperation from your local CP to assist with a home check. Donations appreciated to help treat anothe puss.

She is currently in foster care of Canterbury and District CP

Suki had her last check up at the vets yesterday and although she is still abit wobbly the vets gave her the all clear to go.. She is thus ready to go to her new home a family with a cat loving daugher who was far younger then we thought Suki would get on with. But they came and saw her and Suki was fine.. The parents where from Holland and are one of the rescue types so seemed to be a great home for Suki. On a quiet street in Faversham with an enclosed garden (Suki is unlikely to jump 8ft fences) and a small patio, no other pets.. All sounds good for Suki.
