I lurked on CC for ages before posting as had never posted on a forum before (I know, look at me now!). I think a trend of newbies introducing themselves is that they say they have been avidly reading what's on Purrs for ages, sometimes people only post when they have a specific Q they would like answering.

I think the volume who have joined is very impressive in such a short time and I think we have about as many active members as CC did before it closed but they had nearer 4000 registered members!
