Subject: Over 1500 Cats Trapped in Shanghai and Surrounding Region for Shipment to Southern China's Food and Fur Industries
This should be sent to the newspapers I am doing so today all shipments of goods from China should be stopped so let us get the message out DO NOT BUY ANYTHING MADE IN CHINA

They brutally kill millions of cats and dogs every year - I hate China >:(
They have recently built a multi-million dollar market for cat and dog meat. They are brutally beaten to death. They are brutal scum! >:(
With the rise in wealth in China, cat and dog meat consumption is on the increase. We need to destroy their trade. I will not knowingly buy anything made in China. I hate them! >:(
I just tried to find a link but saw a video of dogs screaming as they are being beaten to death with sticks - I hate them so much!!!!! >:(
I hope that anyone that eats the meat dies a horrific and painful death >:(
Those poor babies in the photos - Chinese cannot have any heart or soul to do these things.

Seeing these photos has stuck with me all day, driving back from work I burst into tears thinking of them :'(

It haunts me and although I know it happens, I can't look at them. All we can do is support charities like AnimalsAsia (Who Christine did a 5 mile sponsored walk on Saturday) and boycott Chinese goods. Also spread the word that people joke about getting cat in Chinese restaurants without realising what an evil country it really is.
I wish I had never seen the videos as they broke my heart :'(

Do you happen to know what torture the cats are going through? Cats are tortured! These animals are either skinned alive, suffocated, hung, clubbed, beaten, or they died from bleeding to death. I personally feel that this is wrong, and I think everyone agrees with me. These countries are doing this to these poor animals. China, Philippines, and Thailand export there fur to France, German, Italy, the United States, and other countries. You could right now be wearing a cat. The fur is used in gloves, toys, and to trim coats. Have you ever bought something called Mountain Cat fur? China makes up names such at that to keep people from thinking that there actually buying cat fur! Cats are loving caring creatures and I believe that they do not deserve this sort of torture! So please, sign this petition. Also, if you can please tell everyone you know about this horrible cat fur trade then it would be very helpful! Boycott China for animal cruelty! Sign the petition!

I read this yesterday and just could not get those poor cats out of my mind, I cried myself to sleep and gave all my furbabies extra hugs and cuddles.
RIP sweet babies - free from suffering now little ones xxx

Another thing is never buy decorated ornaments on holiday and ask people not to buy them for you. I read an article that said they bought china cats in Italy with a fur trim, the fur turned out to be cat fur! :'( - the irony is cat lovers are unknowingly supporting the trade in cat fur :'(

China is a disgusting, sick, barbaric country and they skin millions of animals alive and beat dogs to death for meat and fur - I am disgusted that the prime minister of China is welcomed in this country.
