This is Jeremy - he needs to be a house cat as he is deaf. He is very friendly and purrs a lot! :Luv:
My name is Jeremy. I am 5 years old. I was bought in by an Inspector as a stray. I was very bedraggled and in need of veterinary treatment for an abcess on my face. I am now receiving that treatment. I am deaf - and was finding life very, very difficult on my own. So now I need to be a house cat, in a peaceful household, where I will be safe and secure. Can you help me find my confidence again, and feel safe?
We will consder rehoming Jeremy anywhere in the country, subject to a Home Visit, if the potential adopter is able to visit and collect Jeremy.
Jeremy is in the care of RSPCA Stafford Wolverhampton and District Branch.

I shouldn't of looked - as I want to save him :'( - but can't and that makes me truly sad - I know I have the purrfect home - but I have a VERY dominant & jealous Male Bengal.
Jez is a real honey pie and I send him loving vibes to find that wonderful loving home xxxx

Ahhh bless him .... he is gorgeous ... I'm sure he will find his forever home very soon xxxxx

Oh he is just gorgeous. I am actually very tempted to find out more about adopting him but not sure if I should upset the applecart with Riley and Digby. Since coming home to me in February they have been perfect - no accidents or destruction, and maybe adding another cat would create some havoc. But he looks so adorable.
And my boys are indoor and they came from a flat full of cats so are definitely used to other cats.
I will think about it for a few days.

Ooops. Have just emailed them with some questions! He might be better suited to a single cat home anyway.
-
the branch I volunteer for nearly always wants them to go to no pet homes no idea why
-
Yeah, I thought that might be the case, but worth asking. I would think that deaf cats would like the company of their own species so they communicate in some way with them. But I guess they may be more nervous if they can't hear.
I can understand wanting a quiet home for them.
I'll see what they say.

Good luck Tiga, he would be a handsome addition ;D

Would be great if this worked out for you both :wow:

...and a very lucky boy too. Riley and Digby are getting a hi-cat pole ;D

I have had a response from them. She said they would keep my offer on the table in case no perfect home comes up. They said if he goes to a home with an existing cat it should be older and not too active. Mine are only 2 but tend to sleep all day and play at night when I am at home. I think he would be fine, but if he can find a perfect home with someone else that's okay. He is SOOOOOOO cute though!

[/quote] Sorry, I have no idea how to do the quote thing.
They are getting a bunch of other stuff too. My sister is coming over from the US and I have given her a long shopping list of cool cat stuff from over there!
Anyway, I'll keep my fingers crossed but not hold my breath!
