I live in Ramsgate, Kent with my family and have always wanted a long haired cat. I have 2 adult cats mum and daughter that I took in 7 years ago. We have a large garden and someone is always at home during 4 days of the week and then 3 days we are out the house for 6 hours. Willing to travel upto 100miles to look at a kitten. We dont have a catflap so house cat is an option (one of our cats is a house cat), we have chickens, tropical fish and a hamster, so are a true animal loving family. Let me know if you think you have what I am looking for. I would rather take in an unwanted kitten rather than pay a breeder money for what I want so this is my last attempt before that. Let me know. all then best. Stevie

:innocent: I live with may family in Ramsgate, Kent. I have 2 adult cats (mum and daughter) one is a house cat and the other comes in and out as she pleases. They are 8 & 9 years old.
We would like to take in a female long haired but struggling in our local area. Have you got one that needs a home. Willing to travel upto 100miles for the right one. :thanks:. Stevie

:welcome: to the forum.
Have you had a look at the rescues in your area or surrounding areas?
If you haven't, here is a link http://www.catchat.org/adoption/kent.html
There are plenty of cats needing a forever home, so if for any reaosn a long haired kitten isn't available, I am sure there will be others that will steal your heart ;)

Hi have replied in your other thread, might be worth merging the two so that people can see it ;)

Hi there.. I am the person that put you onto Purrs missneal... and i think you have already contacted local rescues.. Female LH kittens are out there.. believe me we have more kittens then we know what to do with.. Good luck

take into account the long hair vs poo issue - its something I hadn't really thought about until I got a long haired cat! :evillaugh:

Rolvenden rescue has two LH bridle dark torties females (very unusual i must say) now 6wks old so 2wks or so before ready to go.. They have to go as a pair though.. You can find them through catchat pages as not sure i can put tel number here.. Theya re based nr Tenterden so not that far from Thanet
This rescue requires homechecks but perhaps local rescue to you may do that.. Donations always gratefully received.

It is spooky how the4 dejavus look like the ones you sent down to me Ange, I reckoned you cloned them before letting go.

The only longhaired female I have at the moment is Pippin, who can be seen on my website, www.eightlivesleftkittenrescue.co.uk, but don't know how far I am from Ramsgate either.

This poor mite is only 6 months old and desparately needs someone respondsible and dedicated. (She will need to have daily eye drops for the rest of her life due to past neglect, but otherwise she's fine. :wow:
If you ring Animates you can say to them Cats Protection (ME! :)) are willing to home check you.
Let us know what you think? :wish:

Have to agree, not nice having to wipe poo up from the floors.
