Hey, thought I'd join this site as I love cats.
Just a bit about me, I'm 15, come from lovely sunny Wales and keep reptiles and a 2yr old, gorgeous, black kitty.
The cat I've got atm was a stray in the garden and one day he turned up with a gooey eye (conjunctivitis) and a cut on his head. He went straight to the vets and got patched up, the vets said we could keep him after that. Since then he's been neutered and has been microchipped.
I'll get some pictures up for people to see soon :)

Thanks for the welcomes guys :)  I live in Pontypool in South Wales atm, hopefully next year sometime though I should be moving to a small-holding in West Wales near the coast. Been keeping my eye out for tips on moving with a cat as I don't want my kitty running back to the old house as I've heard lots do.

Aha, I see that Opheodrys is a genus of snake.  But I havent worked out the numbering system yet...

lol well  I'm a bit of a reptile fanatic and my first snake was a little rough green snake (opheodrys aestivus), I named her Opheodrys as I've always thought it was a pretty name so I usually use it as a username on forums.
The numbering in my signature is also reptile related. It's so you don't have to wonder what sex someone's animal is, say for example:  2.1.3 european shorthairs would be 2 male cats, 1 female and 3 unsexed cats.
I normally hang out on reptile forums so I'm not used to not having that signature lol

You would do well to start a thread about moving with a cat in the general section here.  I have never done it (although I may well be doing so in due course) but plenty of folks on here have and will be able to give you good tips.

Your baby is gorgeous - an absolute stunner.  I bet he was so glad he fell on his feet with you  ;D  The ranks of the Welsh members are swelling daily.  Yep, lots of useful advice on here, but if there's anything you want to know and don't see, just ask.
