Title: Beautiful Fudge needs home. Is she a bit pedigree? HOMED
Post by: Corporal Smokey on April 22, 2008, 19:18:29 PM
This is Fudge. She was brought in to us as a stray. With her incredible markings and "me me me" temperament I reckon she's a cross breed of some kind.

Well ped or not she lovely looking, fussy when she wants to be fussed and would love a forever home.

If she's the kitty for you, PM me. Chesterfield/Amber Valley areas preferred please.

10 bonus points to whoever tells me what breed she hails from. Bengal was mentioned. I think she's a little stocky for a bengly but she has a bit of the personality!

Here's the lovely lady herself:

with a ticked coat and a me, me, me attitude she is probably an aby cross, like Smidgen, but with no white splodges.

Oooh could be bc, am I right in thinking ticked coats are fairly exclusive to abys?

Again, wouldn't have said she had the bone structure but then she could be third generation and pops may've been a big old Tom!

I agree with BC ... she does look like she might have a bit of Aby in her ancestry somewhere.  It's the white round the mouth that gives her away.

ticking is what makes a tabby, most tabbies have some ticking in amongst their stripes, but large patches of ticking (or agouti, if you want to be fancy) are fairly limited to Abys ... Here's a pic of Smidge, showing his ticking off nicely so you can compare ...

If you search for Zephyr or Foxy you can see plenty of ticking on them .... they are Abys  ;)

bc your smidge is the double of my late Algie - he was beautiful and if I ever came across another like him nothing would stop me taking him - not sure if you have the purrs calendar but he was on october 2007
