Hi, everyone is fine. Matilda is still demolishing the vole population, Precious is still as scared as ever. Harv lives with my friend who has 4 Siamese, she worked with him to turn him back in to a social kitten as they do not go out but do have a large run. He seemed to sense straight away that he was with his own kind so to speak and is a really happy social cat there, involved in everything, playing with the others and spoilt absolutely rotten! We adopted a Russian Blue kitten, as the previous owners were allergic - which it turns out so am I, leaves me constantly unwell. He is adorable but £500 vets bills later we have found out he is allergic to food and can only eat Royal Canin Sensitivity, we are still paying off the bill - we couldn't claim on the insurance as it happened within the first fourteen days :(
Matilda absolutely hated him, attacking him whenever she could but this has gradually diminished and now the attacks are very half hearted and aimed at putting him in his place - she never hurt him, it was mostly posturing with the odd claws in swipe. We were looking for a playmate for him though as he tries to play rough with Precious who really doesn't want it and he loves other cats.
So apart from the fact the new kitten is manic and very energetic the house has achieved a sort of calm.
Phew - wrote an essay there :)

Hi Grit ... where've you been?
I tried emailing you on the email address on your old CC profile but I think it bounced back. I tried to email everyone to let them know where we had moved to when CC closed down. But you're here now ... phew!

Have ya tried all the allergic stuff adivce that was on CC and i think there is also some posts on here too.

PIC of the new tiny terror is on the Our Cats bit of the forum under "My little Russian Blue"
Wanted to say thanks Sam for sending the email with everyones details on, I did get it but unfortunately our new kitten managed to knock a glass of sherry over my lap top 2 days later and before I had backed up. The computer went in for tests but was pronounced deceased 2 weeks later and I have been totally out of touch since
Also had exams in December

:rofl: ahh that would explain why you've not been around! LOL. I bet kitten had it's nose in the glass when it knocked it over didn't it!
