Had a hectic night last night, swapping cats with Kelly, dropping cats off at the vets, picking paperwork up - and then ended up coming home with a cat as welll!! I should have known that I Couldnt do 2 visits to the rescue in 3 days without coming home with anything!! She is a gorgeous torbie called Angel, we think she might be about 8, and she has had some sickness probs, but tests were clear, so the vet puts it down to the amount of fur she was losing, so I need to regularly groom her, and give her Katalax every couple of days, as well as only feed her small amounts. She doesnt really like other cats, so I am sure she will love being on her own in the cat room. Very friendly and affectionate, and really nice markings. Not sure if the pics I took on Sat are small enough to post on here, but will try - if not, shall get them on at weekend.

omg she is so sweet looking was a beautiful little face - wish I had more room moment of the day!

She is lovely - the lady who rang us about her said she was 'heavily impregnated'!! She does have an odd belly, despite being wormed, so are probalby going to do her again, but is quite thin round the shoulders. So friendly and affectionate though, but prospective owners are goign to need to watch her ears, she appears to have practically no fur on them at all.

Angel went to a fab new home today (yes, we have officially stopped rehoming, but this was a couple with no kids, and no Christmas plans, so happy to have a quiet few weeks). It was actually quite weird, I was debating what to do, and wondered if I should go to Hebden Bridge, and that is where Angel has gone, so I got to go, but to take her, rather than the nice wander I thought I might do!! They warned me it was semi-rural, they didn't warn about the narrow steep country lanes - was very glad to have an automatic car, but think I need to invest in Sat Nav!! She had a good wander while I was there, and I left her sat on the stairs, it seems to be her favourite place at the moment. Sadly, I couldnt remember Purr's addy, so couldnt get them to join!!

Thanks, it is odd, as last night I didn't want her to go this side of X Mas, but there was something about the phone call I had that made me rethink things. I had to ring earlier as I had messed up the paperwork, and she has settled, and sat with them most of the evening - and had chicken for her tea!!

Spoke to her owners yesterday, and they kindly donated some litter that she wouldnt use - really odd, as it is PAH wood based, and we always use woodbased, so she is used to it!! She is doing really well, loves to sleep on the bed!! STill got tummy issues, but it sounds like it is food related. His mum has been over for Christmas, and she has been in her element, constantly sleeping on her knee, so they wondered if she had had an elderly owner - she was a stray when we took her, so no way of knowing.

so glad she has settled in her new home :Luv:
