I will try to find some other stuff but this is the best I can come up with right now :evillaugh:
It has a lot of the later "Lush" recordings and none of the early hick stuff. This is a great CD but I bought a box set with all these on and more. I will also include a CDR of my other favourites from the boxset - with some rarities.
I
1. Crazy
2. Heartaches
3. Sweet Dreams
4. She's Got You (with some studio sounds before the record starts)
5. He called me baby
6. Love letters in the sand
7. Crazy Arms
8. Bill Bailey (Won't you please come home)
9. Have you ever been lonely?
10. That's my desire
11. Your Cheatin' heart
12. That's how a heartache begins
13. I love you so much it hurts
14. Half as Much
15. Back in baby's arms
16. South of the border (down mexico way)
17. San Antonio Rose
18. Why can't he be you?
19. I fall to pieces
20. Leavin' on your mind

:omg: I'll bid £5 for you to humanely dispose of this item
When I was at school I had a Saturday job in Woollies and the girl on the record counter used to play Patsy Cline all day. Whenever I hear her I'm back in that windowless basement counting the minutes to closing time

Congratulations CarolM (wendolene). You’re the winner with a final bid of £8.00 including P & P all to be paid to Lesley.
Please see the thread “How to pay your auction money to Lesley”
Please contact Mark via email on their profile or by Private Message with the name of the item/s you have won and the address you would like the item sent to. The money must be paid to Lesley before the item is sent from the auctioneer.
Please post on this thread once you have sent the money off to Lesley for confirmation. Thanks.
For the auctioneer
Thanks for auctioning the item and for covering the postage cost so more funds go to Lesley.
It's the auctioneer’s responsibility to guarantee the auctioned item is posted to the winning bidder.
The winning bidder must pay Lesley the winning bid before you send off the auction item. Please wait until a post is made on the item thread saying the winner has paid.
Please could you post confirmation on this thread when you have posted the item to the winner. Thanks

Not sure if Carol wants a photo of it in the log burner? :evillaugh:
-
That would be nice . If it pains you to destroy it you could chuck a small donation in to Lesley and keep it to auction again next year
-
I already have on the tracks in my box set :evillaugh:
I better not put in in the log burner as it's only 2 weeks old and OH won't forgive me if there is melted plastic stuck to it :evillaugh:
Anyway, I can't put Patsy on the fire :'(
She was ill as a child with an infection where her heart stopped briefly, was in a car crash where her head went through the windscreen (she had to record the vocals for "crazy" 2 weeks after the music was recorded as her ribs were so bruised still) then died in a plane crash after singing for free at a benefit to raise funds for the family of a DJ who had died in a car crash.
If Claire still wants it, she could pay as well and send it to her?
-
Sounds good to me
-
I have PMd Claire to see if she wants it ;D
-
Claire has already bought a Patsy CD so now it's Liz's if she wants it? :evillaugh:
-
Anyway, I can't put Patsy on the fire :'(
I knew you wouldn't be able to :) I don't blame you though - I wouldn't want to put any of my faves on the fire either. If Liz wants it you can send it to her without any further payment. I happen to know that's she's already paid more than the total she bid on the auction - well enough to cover Patsy.
-
I already sent an email to that effect this morning ;D
-
Money received, item can be posted somewhere
-
Ummmmmmmmmmmmm has the fate of this been decided
-
Yes - it went to Liz ;D - Its fate lies in her hands now. She has donated the panic mouse to Dawn ;D
-
Ok Good LOL, great result ;D
