£36 for the plug-in
£22 for a refill
I told her VetUK prices and she wants me to order it for for (via a link ;D )
She realised that the spray is better for her anyway ;D
-
my goodness what a rip off >:(
-
OMG that's extortionate! Our vets are pricey too, compared to VetUK, but they are not that bad!
-
my goodness what a rip off >:(
As she said, it's a big chunk of her pension >:(
-
it so bad, the people who don't have internet like your mum are probably the most likely to need to find savings
-
Exactly, there is a gas showroom next door and they sell those cookers like we had in the 70's with eye level grill etc. Only old people shop there and pay through the nose for it.

You know what Mark i'd print off the vet uk page with the feliway products and prices on it and tell your mum to take it and present it to her vet, or post an annonymous letter with it saying compare to their own prices. Its expected for them to be more expensive but not by that much >:(
-
I ordered the spray from VetUK this morning for her - £11.99 and did it through Dawn's link ;D
I have my mum's card details now ;)
-
£36! What a rip off - mine was £11.99 from Vets UK but I checked a few website and didn't see it priced at more than £15/£16 anywhere.
-
How sickening! Only yesterday I ordered my refil for the diffuser from vet uk through a charity link ;) for the price of £10.99......this vet is taking advantage of peeps who are stressed out for their cats! :shify:

She rang today to say it arrived. She asked if they sold Frontline as well - I told her yes and to check it wasn't the combi. She said she doesn't need it now but for in the future as she got it this week and it was £47.00 for a 6 pack  - she was sick when I told her £15.23 from VetUK plus a donation came out of that as well :(
She isn't destitute but not rich either - far from it :(
-
That's disgusting >:( No wonder people think they can't afford 'proper' stuff from the vets. Has she opened it mark? She could take it back saying that she didn't realise her son was going to get it for her, then she'll have an extra £32 to put towards your Xmas pressie :evillaugh:
-
She has used one already. It's not a wealthy area either - Basildon :-:
-
What a rip off! I'd expect them to charge a bit more than vetuk due to increased overheads, but that's taking the :censored:

Maybe I could order her one and she can take it back to the vet for a refund? :evillaugh:

Hmmm a job for watchdog me thinks >:(
They are even dearer than chemists which are approx £32 for 6 frontline
