Title: Supreme Bragette

It was Pearl's second Supreme (and mine also) and it was our second 2nd place in class - this time to the sister of the cat that beat us last year. I'm utterly thrilled because I nearly didn't take her - it was a 4:30 am decision to pack a cat with me. In a way, just getting to the show was a real victory in itself. She's my little star.  :wish:

Plus, not only did I come home with a beautiful Supreme Show rosette, I also came back with two lovely rosettes from the South Ribble Pet Cat Club - one for being the highest placed member's cat in the class and one for having the third best member's decorated pen.  :yesss:

It was also super to meet as many Purrs peeps as I did AND to be able to share my special little girl with you all. You are all welcome to come and give her a cuddle should you bump into us at other shows in the future.  ;D

For me, showing isn't all about the results, it is also about being able to let people meet Pearl and hear her story - not many folks realise that you CAN show an adult rescue, let alone show one successfuly. Pearl made a lot of people happy yesterday by coming out to meet and greet, especially one lovely disabled chap in a wheelchair.
 
Pearl's been totally zonked out today and has spent most of the time curled up on my bed with a hot water bottle and rightly so. (Mind, I've been feeling rather woolly myself as it was a 20-hour day for me yesterday) We arrived back home just gone half nine last night, though I did stop at cambridge services for a break and a bite to eat. I deliberately bought a chicken burger so that I could share it with madam - she was as hungry as me! Didn't want to leave her in the car while I went for food, so she came along with me into the services and attracted a lot of oohs and ahs from everyone.
 
Have attached a couple of photos of madam Pearl in her decorated pen. And thanks again to everyone who came to see her - sorry if I missed anyone.

I was very priviledged to meet the gorgeous Pearl yesterday and was suprised, even after being told, how small she was  ;D

I think your pen deserved better Witty, cos I loved the Pilchards  :rofl:

By the way you beat me home by about 2hrs and I left before you cos you was missing from your pen when I came down to say goodbye  :naughty: :naughty: :naughty:

I was honoured with being able to give a chin tickle on Saturday - I also think your pen was fab - I loved the bob the builder with his drill in the litter tray  :evillaugh:

Well done Pearl, congratulations Witty,  but what has this to do with large crusty bread?,  I got confused with the title, I thought it read "Supreme Baguette", must be lunch on my mind  ;D

I think I missed both Pearl and yourself :(

Maybe next time eh? Did get to meet Dawn, Lesley and Gill, and  i spotted Sams coat but couldn't run after her as I was eating my lunch!!

I'm still so thrilled that some of you came to meet her - it is always such a pleasure to share my special little girl.  ;D

Congratulations Reynard on your second achievement.

Would loved to have been there this year to see you all, but it wasn't meant to be this time. Thought about you though. Hope you all enjoyed the fun!
