They are nearly 17 weeks old now but the vets think they may be as young as 13 weeks old,
I know that they can be spayed at 5 months but should i wait untill they are 6 months old just incase they are a month younger like the vet thinks they might be?
First of all the vet needs to decided if tiggy is a boy or a girl lol
They went for a little check up today due to pipins tummy still being slightly upset and when the vet looked at tiggy she thinks she might be a boy as it looks as though she has 2 little bits growing. Like the vet said she would of though they would of grown by now but theres no telling

I would go off your vets advice due to their size - shadow was a month behind her age size wise, and was done bang on 6 months (and a week later, she would have been in season!!)

:thanks: desley,
I can finally tell that pipin has grown since we got her ;D
-
Aww, bless her
-
Some vets may do 5mths but mine would only do it at 6mths
-
Mine will do 5 months but i didn't want to risk it and them only really be 4 months, Does that make sense?
-
Understand what you mean  The vet will have to be sure of their ages first before you decide :shify:

Exactly i asked her again today how old she thinks they may be and she still says 13 weeks but as far as i know 17 weeks tommorrow  CPL did warn me that they be younger than 17 weeks though

I would ask her when they go for their checkup in a fortnights time, and also what is the youngest she will do them from, my vet will do them as young as 4 months, and I think that is CP's current guidelines.

I will definatly ask her again then she said if tiggy hasnt grown anything by then she would say that she is a girl and these little bits are just very dark tuffts of fur. I want to get them spayed asap to save any health problems, They wont be going out yet if ever but still getting them sapyed as soon as possible. :thanks:

Id do it at 5, if they are younger it wont hurt them ;D
In the states they do as young as 6 weeks!
