Maybe worth mentioning that the scratching post weighs a ton so is extremely stable. I'm not on commission....yet ;)

I can vouch for that, I have the De Luxe Bastion Scratcher - the posts are made from solid wood not cardboard tubes like most cat towers. I'd be proud to have the carpet as flooring in my house too. I'm not on commission either ;)
