Can you give us a little heads up on some of your more urgent residents, please? It would be good to have a little summary on one thread so that folks can see what you are dealing with right now. It might encourage some others to come along to the Open Evening?
I am doing my best to keep up, but even I am losing track of all the little lives you are saving (and I dont want that!) :hug:

Where do I begin ? youngest first I suppose :shy:
Aurora was first to come in a tiny half dead little thing, we left her mum out because we knew that there were 4 more kittens even though we suspected they were dead, to cut a long story short mum Milly was brought in and re-united with her 6 babies after we had found them all 4 days later. All including mum were suffering from cat flu and even had the limpy leg syndrome,so for the past couple of weeks I have been busily syringe feeding and nursing them back to health; thankfully they all seem to have turned a corner now. Not had a minute to take updated pictures.
They are Milly, Aurora, Selene, Noor, Roshan, Altan and Luken ( mum plus 3 girls and 3 boys.)
The last of the cupboard cats Amelia is still here with her 4 kittens Raffles, Oliver, Muffin and Toby, they are all fully vaccinated and Amelia is booked in for spay next week. Those who came to our open day in July will remember Amelia heavily pregnant and also Izabella.
Izabella was trapped with her feral 14week old kittens Larry and Rory, unfortunately she was already pregnant and gave birth to 5 babies here, 4 have been rehomed but Izabella and daughter Freya are still looking for a home . Larry and Rory have been reserved today.
Sherbet the beautiful tortie who needed her eye removed after it was pierced by something is here with babies Bliss and Bear, 2 real little cheeky ones,it would be wonderful if all 3 could stay together they are such a happy little family.
Jess the poor skeleton who arrived in a rat cage with her 7 starving kittens is still here, she needs to be an only pet, I think having 7 mentally scarred kittens biting her none stop has put her off other cats. Two of her kittens remain with us sisters Lilliput and Titania hopefully someone will choose them soon they are lovely.
Pumkin is a young adult male who was brought to my door late at night a couple of weeks ago, he had been found lying in the road, his only injuries were self inflicted from scratching his fleas,he is a lovely lad but hates other cats.
In the house we have:
Emma a poor old soul blind with lots of problems, I think this dear girl will live out her days here. Her story is in rescue/rehoming section.
Then theres Anastasia the beauty who lost both her ears to cancer,she is a real lap cat.
Buster our president 22 next month and Tula the feral tabby.
Theres Cat and Chat, Ivan the terrible and Fuchsia all ferals living and playing in the office with me.

Then of course there are the outdoor ferals who enjoy being wild, headed by Hettie, Monica and Wilma who lounge in the greenhouse overseeing who joins them for dinner each day, we are currently feeding quite a few .
Heaven forbid I forgot Minimopsical. :shify:
Sorry not been able to keep things as up to date as usual been busy making Christmas crackers inbetween looking after the cats; I will try to update more and post pics soon. ;D

Is Minimopsical a permanent stay? I remember Sherbert - have to admit to having a soft spot for her.

You mustn't forget Megan and Florence, who are still residents of Paws Inn, but are just lodging with me at the moment!!
A few weeks ago, the Inn was fuller than it is now and the girls were in a large collapsable pen (designed for kittens I might add) for isolation reasons. Megan - Miss Houdini - managed to escape through the bars as she has a tiny head (!) and so they needed to either go into a smaller collapsable pen (with smaller bar gaps) or one of the permanant pens to maintain isolation. The permanent pens were not an option as they were (and still are!) full of mums and babies (amongst others) and it was unfair to put 2 boisterous kittens into a smaller pen. The two girls have therefore been residents in my luxury foster facilities (back bedroom!) where they have space and isolation!
I am amazed at how Teresa manages to look after so many cats, but always maintain isolation requirements and give them enough space to be comfortable. I have been with her when we have had to mastermind a switch around of pens to make room for new residents. Its not easy to do as each pen has to be completely scrubbed down between residents to ensure no germs are exchanged and the cats have to be comfortable in the mean time! It really is a puzzle that has to be solved each time.
Hopefully these 2 girls will find a home soon. They are little hunnies!

Just to try and keep this up to date Larry and Rory went to their new home together this morning and Emma was reunited with her owner last night.

More good news Muffin and Raffles have been reserved and will be going to their new home together at the weekend.
Dare I say it, more going out than coming in, things seem to have finally eased off.

Roshan,Altan, Luken, Selene.Noor,Aurora and mum Milly are all doing well thanks Christine,the kittens are disgusted that they have had yet another dose of wormer.
Izabella and Amelia were both spayed and microchipped today, Izabella is fine and happily curled up with her remaining kitten Freya; , poor Amelia made a huge fuss of son Raffles despite feeling worse for wear,little Muffin didnt recognise mums smell and growled at her mum and brothers and war broke out,been in and out since early afternoon re scenting mum and kittens, no growling now but 3 kittens still in the outside run and its worrying me sick as its so cold;if they dont go indoors soon will have to move them somewhere for the night but short of my bed cant think of anywhere,hopefully they are just having a late night,when I looked in a few minutes ago Toby was cuddled up to mum. guess I`m just a born worrier.

Raffles and Muffin went to their new home on Friday and we have just had a Reserve on Lilliput and Titania, they will be going late tomorrow morning :cheer: If only people would consider some of the beautiful adult cats. :(

Will try to do one later this evening Christine, just finished feeding and poop scooping and dashing out to visit the 3 most wonderful boys in the world, Bill, Ted and Jack not managed to see them in 2 weeks and they will be forgetting what Grandma looks like.

Glad that the kittens are going well, and hope that someone will look at the adults soon. We have had a few people recently only wanting adults, I hope you get some too.

Update esp. for Christine
This time going to mention some of our long term residents
Top of the list is Buster who will be 22 years young on 8th December, Buster is a permanent resident here as he has had 7 heart attacks,needs monthly injections for spondylosis of the spine and underwent drastic surgery when his urethra narrowed and became useless. His injection is due and you can tell because he is a little grumpy at present,other than that hes great.
Tula is the fat feral girl sharing Busters bed,we did try to rehome her but she has decided she is not for going,she is fine.
Anastasia is doing well and getting a little more exercise than usual playing musical beds in the new scratching post; Anastasia came to use with cancerous ears which needed amputation.
The office was moved into our feral room recently, Ivan and Fuchsia as you can see have settled well in there desk job, Cat and Chat are busy doing investigative laser work.

Update for Christine part 2
Minimopsical I think is known and loved by most, she has been a little off colour and at present has a big bald bib as she has had lots of big blood tests, but she is bright and results to date say she is ok.
We continue to feed and care for our outdoor ferals who continue to grow in numbers each year,our oldest and longest resident ferals are pictured, Hettie a teenager,Monica another teenager and Wilma I think 9-10 years now,fortunately they all seem to be in good health,they took over our greenhouse which has been full of cat beds and feeding bowls for years; Hettie the oldest has moved into Rio Mews her own outdoor house which is just purr fect for her in the cold wet weather.
Then its onto our rehomeable cats, they are all doing well, Amelia and Izabella were spayed and microchipped this week and are recovering well. Milly`s 6 little ones,Aurora,Roshan, Selene,Noor,Altan and Luken are finally growing well and looking like proper kittens after a horrendous start in the wild and an awful dose of cat flu,hopefully they will be big enough for vaccinations soon. Aurora has become a cheeky madam and is definately the boss.
Freya,Oliver,and Toby are all huge now and so lovable.
Sherbet with her little family Bear and Bliss is an absolute delight , little Bear is a confident coward :rofl:
Poor Jess,shes a lovely girl about 3 years old and no one has even looked at her,she is mum to the 7 piranhas that were, only Titania and Lilliput remain here but like their 5 brothers and sisters they will be leeaving for their new home in the morning.
Pumpkin is another wonderful young adult, looking for his forever home,they are all well and there pictures can be seen on our website.
I mustn`t forget Megan and Florence who are currently being fostered by Claire,she tells me they are growing well and enjoying running her off her feet, they will be back here later in the week for vaccinations.
Thankfully no new arrivals to report on, I am currently taking emergency cases only, its been a hectic year with so many needing lots of TLC and more recently Claire and I trying to fit in cracker making and other handicrafts to provide food and veterinary care;you need to be a jack of all trades in rescue but one thing I have learnt is that I need to just try and slow down a touch.Our Christmas social is this Saturday all are welcome.

Even "slowing down" for the moment, there are so many little ones, arent there?
I am so sorry for poor Jess and will have to give her a special Good Luck cuddle on Saturday. All those kittens and now no-one wants to look at her for a home of her very own :'(
