As you all know i have 2 16 week old kittens and i was just wondering what the average weight for them is?
Tiggy weights 3 1/2lb and pippin weighs 2 1/2lb i guess she is probably underweight but she has had a few poorly tum problems but is slowly gaining weight which is fantastic
Thanks everyone

Whats that in modern money?

Well Thai is 5 and a half (age) and she weighs about 7lb. So I wouldnt worry too much, think about that as much as they eat, they run it off playing :Luv:

 just over 1kg and 1.6kgs
I thought i would put it in pounds as i thought more people would of known what i was on about

My kittens were spaded and nutted at 17weeks and all were at 2kg plus a bit for the 3 boys and tabitha who is a tomboy fatty :evillaugh: the smallest girl was petite but wasnt skinny.
Your girls havent had the best start in life tho so they doing ok! Little Pippin has a lot of catching up to do bless her. Does her sister use the weight advantage to boss her around?
-
she does indeed! they always play fighting and tiggy just pins pipin down but pipin is a cheeky one and will sneek up on tiggy and bite her ears
Pipin is such a cutie if she cant find tiggy newere (ie she has shut herself in a cupboeard ) pipin will cry untill i go and find her :Luv:
Im not to worried about the weight as my vets thinks they are only 3 months old but CPL estimated 16 weeks (well 11 when i got them but 16 now) but they did explain to me that they could be wrong as they were taken there with there mum and dad and believed the owners loed about the kittens ages >:(
-
Pipin went for a little check up today and she is now 1.4kg and tiggy is 1.8kg so there getting there now, The vet was extremely pleased as she has gained alot of weight since ive had her, Her tummy is still a bit poorly but the vet said she is very healthy and has gave me other things to try, Getting some lacto b to try and going from supermeat to chicken in jelly.

OMG I must have a giant on my hands!!!
My 8/9 week old weighs in at around 1.3kg

It might just be mine are slightly underweight as they didnt have a fantastic start in life, So he may not be a giant lol

Neither did mine .. he was rescued at 2 weeks of age and hand reared along with his 5 other siblings. The other 5 are considerably smaller than him. He's certainly the odd one out both in colour and size :-:

Bless him well he is deffinatly doing well for himself now!Mine were taken into CPL with both them mum and dad when they were 4 weeks old CPL league believe they may have been younger than this though so they might not be 16 weeks old now lol

Oliver weighed well over 3kg (about 7lb) when he came to us at 4 months (a bit over 16 weeks I reckon?). Now at 6 months he is close to 5kg (11lb). But I think it is an extraordinary case, we suspect he has a bear in his genes :evillaugh:
-
Willow only weighs 3kg and she is nearly 9 year old :evillaugh:
-
Marco and Polo were weighed today prior to neutering and were 2.5kg and 2.8kg respectively they are approx 5 months old
hth

ok that's it .. Memphis is officially part Elephant. He's somewhere around the 13 week mark and he's 1.65kg. On Sunday he was just under 1.6kg. He's really quite long as well.

Yup nelifant you got there  Our Tom (age 18) is just over 5kg but not fat. I can't imagine a 6 month old being that heavy unless he's a real big fella :Luv:
-
Here is his super generous tummy shot fresh from 2 days ago... you get the idea. :evillaugh:

Wow, he's a tall fella for 6 months or else your sink is real diddy ;D
-
Sink!!   It is a stool, mind, like below!!

The tallest end is set at about 70cm (27,5 inch), yes he is tall as well, long legs with nice muscles developing on them, I do my best to keep him fit and from becoming obese!! :innocent:
-
Are you sure your litttle ones are only 6 months old?
-
I would trust what Devi, his original meowmy told us, she has been with him ever since he was born. And sure enough, apart from his Super size, he is still every bit of a kitten
-
he is still every bit of a kitten
I have 18 year olds that act like kittens, not suggesting that yours are that old though.
I do find that very often people do say kittens or indeed cats are younger than they really are so people will take them on.
-
And from the way he is growing, I can see he is still a growing boy

Many cats grow and fill up until they are about 2.
-
Okay then I got the point maybe he is an older cat. I am not an expert.

Sorry to call your stool a seat :-[
How long ago did you take the sparkly photo "Ollie and his slave Licia", coz that'll settle it for me. He's obviously a very young lad in that one. Such a cute little face. Don't envy you his food bills when he grows up if he's 5kg already.
