Just a short update on the adventures of Stig :) He's settled in lovely bit hissing with the boys at first but now all the best of mates and they regularly play together (usually at about 2am) he is using all the covered litter trays and takes his meals with the boys :)
He will come and lie with me if I am sitting or lying down but gets spooked if I stand over him or walk towards him but its still early days andhopefully that will pass
couple of pics took this morning

Great news :) He is such a little cutie :Luv: Where's our updated pics of his big brothers though? >:(
-
What a handsome little guy!
Eventually he will get over the you standing up thing, although one of our cats will still run if you walk toward him but only if you're over 6foot tall.
Which annoys the husband ;)
-
Aww he's a wee cutie :Luv:

over 6foot tall.
What if you are 6 foot tall
Where's our updated pics of his big brothers though? >:(
Pictures are hard to get as I have to take them with a camera phone and the auto focus suck which means thay need to be still (usually only while sleeping) :)
Going to get a new camera soon, as soon as Canon get there finger out and release the updated 5D :)

Yeay, I was going to ask about Stig! Glad he's settling in. :)
-
Horza - Are you a fan of Top Gear by any chance????
Cats are weird sometimes, my cat will jump on my car bonnet whilst moving, will sleep whilst we have loud drunken gatherings, and does not flinch on bonfire night but yet sometimes when I come home he bricks himself and hisses until he realises who it is!! lol Something in there make up in regards to humans walking towards them!
He cant stand my Hi-vis jacket!!!

SR, this lad was named by the rescue - Stig of the dump! I think he's adorable! ;D
-
Cheers Spratt ;)
-
No problem. Stig's one of the cats off the rescue and rehoming I've got a bit of a soft spot for if I'm honest. :Luv:
-
How lovely...I told you it would'nt be long before they'd be running round together.....
Stig is such a lovely little fella, he is no problem re: taming down, and that cowering thing while your upright is normal too...would you feel comfortable with something with the same size comparison towering over you  ;)
-
I am swaying towards another cat and want mine to come from a home, trouble is I really want a kitten. I feel bad but I like to sort of bring the cat up so it does not mind being cuddled, chaotic houses etc which is not always possible for older cats, especially those with history. Also Barry is only 1 ish and so they would be better suited to play together IMHO. I have a thing for cats who are all one colour Barry is pure black and my old cat Rizla was pure white, so now im thinkng either pure ginger lol or those grey cats that look very soft!
Sorry just went off on one BACK TO STIG!

Are you saying I'm over big?
-
Aww Stig looks so much more relaxed :Luv: Glad hes getting on with his big brothers ;D
Simon still wont let us lean over him and hes 2 now :(
SR, Some kittens grow up and decide they dont like cuddles. Take my Tabitha, i have handled her since the day she was born yet she got to 4/5 months and decided no more cuddles  You get nice robust bomb proof rescue cats ;D
-
Stig looks so comfortable and settled ;D
-
He's such a cutie :Luv:
-
Oh my what a stunner! Glad he's settling in well.
Horza you may need to try walking wound on your knees so as not to frighten him (would that be called kneeing rather than walking?!)
-
Bless!!
I tried going round on my knees to avoid scaring scared cats, and made them worse!!
-
Not sure the wood/tile floors and my knees could stand it lol
-
Stig looks great :Luv: Glad he's settling in.

One downside of having the youngster is that the big boys now expect supper as well so have to put a little bit in the dishes for them to keep the peace :)
here's a picture of the all having supper :) bare in mind that Stig is only 8 or 9 weeks and the boys are supposed to be 5 months :) Also I reckon Stig has increased 50% in the 10 days I've had him
-
:Luv: :Luv: :Luv: What a lovely piccie.... ;)
-
What gorgous kits :Luv:

Yep, know exactly what you mean! I try to sneak an extra meal or two in for little Gwyn without the others noticing, never works! :sneaky:
Love that pic of the 3 of them. ;D
-
That's a lovely pic :Luv: Is the Stiglet big or are Marco and Polo little for their age?
-
I thought that the boys were right or even little big for 5 months (they were feral rescues so their ages are estimated) but Stig has big furry feet and is growing very fast (in my eyes) so not sure Stig Big? Boys Small? Vet thinks they are ok and about right but who knows
-
Aww, great pic.
-
Eeeee, I love pictures where cats are all so at ease with each other. This is one of my favourite pictures of my mob....even though it's a bit blurry. (And Parsley managed to be pretty much obscured from view!)
