Not seen that one, but to be honest, with issues like that, it depends on the cat, so it might not be fair to show her a video like that, as her cat might be worse. Has he seen a vet?

I would agree very much with Desley, although a video may make it look similar only a vet may know for sure after investigation exactly what was wrong and the long term implications.

I think the video you mean is of my Jasmine.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U6PaO8Z__NM

It was put on here so someone could show it to their vet. Yeah and it probably wouldn't be fair cos Jasmine died a few days later.

I thought youtube was supposed to be fun things. This isn't it is degrading to the kitten. I wouldn't want all and sundry seeing my kitten if he couldn't walk.

I have not watched the vid.

Just very protective toward cats, think I love them too much.

I loved Jasmine very much, Gail. The video of her wasn't for anyone's entertainment. I had put it here at that time because my vet was saying nothing more could be done with her, and somebody on here offered to show the video to their vet for their opinion.

Everyone knows how much Jasmine was loved and cared for Karen   I think Gail might have meant the video that Phoenix was looking for of this other kitten, if not then she might not have been aware of Jasmine's circumstances

Nobody could have cared more for Jasmine than you did     to you Karen.

I remember the story of her being attacked by a dog and initially it seemed that Jasmine would recover but there was a long and slow deterioration which was so sad for you.

 :RIP:  Jasmine

Im scared to mention a certain website name on here anymore! If my Barry ever lost the use of his back legs I would still post videos of him like I do now as its BARRY! It like if someone posts a video of a disabled person/relative on the net, there is no accounting for idiots who use it as a source of humour.

I nearly cried then tho! especially when her buddy comes bounding round the corner.

thanks karenjet  this wasn't the vid but thanks for shairing she was /is a beautiful cat sorry to read what happend.

i can't rember the name of the vid it was on youtube and was about a kitten who some how was injured but had a extreemly strong will to live and didnt let the issue with his back legs stop him

i not put this on here to couse a ruck but wanted to show my m8 (and yes she said to me she would like to see it) how strong willed he is and not to put a damper down on things about the kitten that was born with twisted back limbs.

from what i read after i watched the vid was that the cat who can't use his back legs has ajusted and is enjoying life to the best he can

sorry if this has called a ruck only asked a question  :scared:

Phoenix, it's fine. You haven't caused a problem. I think we just all remember how devastated Karen was and Michelle felt like she needed defending. I'm sure if Gail had all the details she would have reconsidered her wording or put a different post altogether.

I hope you find the footage you're looking for.
