As some of you know I am attempting to learn how to draw and paint and need some cat pictures that are hopefully easier than my four :evillaugh:
If anyone is happy to let me print off and use their cats piccys please let me know.

Not sure how easy either of mine would be to do but feel free to use any on the site that you want to, happy to provide more too. I'm full of admiration for anyone who can draw or paint cos I'm hopeless :-:

Ahhhhhhhhhhhh grey, well in art we dont use black and white to make grey :rofl: :rofl: :rofl:
I asked my teach how to make grey cos the normal ummmmmm grey I was using was missing from my kit and she said you mix all the primary colours..............red, yellow and blue...............in varying quantities to get the red grey, the green grey, the yellow grey, brown grey, and the BLUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE GREY :rofl: :rofl: :rofl: :rofl: :rofl:
You will buy it, my goodness, not sure anything will be good enough to sell, I am only learning :evillaugh: :evillaugh:

Needless to say, if you come across any of Poppy and Monkey that you find useful, you're welcome to use them! Is there anything in particular you're after for practising purposes? Close-ups of various parts/colours/poses..?

i've been thinking at having a go at drawing a cat. i have a feeling it'd be easier to do one thats not your own - with your own i think you'd be so caught up in trying to get the character that you know so well... but i could be wrong - maybe that helps!!!

I started with Misa and have done a rough Franta, would love to do Ducha but he wont stay still and Sasa well shes just a bit complicated at present........will get there though.
Hannah , I wanted to try other peoples cos maybe its easier if you dont live with them :evillaugh: :evillaugh: but also I just wanted a variety cos this helps to practice.

Here are a few of Oliver, a couple from the rare moment when he was being sort of cooperative. He looks rather photogenic here and I like the lighting effect from the window, it may be an interesting exercise/experiment for you.

I thought it was just a kitten thing and he would grow into them but he still doesnt seem to have on pictures I have seen.
I think he is cute and always looks so happy ;D
I am trying to decide whether to put the cat tree in and if I dont, what to do underneath the head. Also have those ears to finish and never have done any ears like it before :rofl:
I also always leave whiskers to the end as well, infact the very last thing ;D
He has changed dramatically since he was started cos the part from the nose down was too short and the top of his face was too wide............sigh
