Bless him, I have missed my Cody fix while you were away! I think we should place bets on how long it stays upright - if Cody sleeps in the same room as the tree I say it wil be horizontal by the morning!

My Chrissy tree not quite fini yet but has loads of stuff on but nobody is interested cept Ducha who seems to think the branches maybe grass and keeep finding him trying to eat em!
As for Cody and the tree, I dodnt reckon it will last till Christmas :rofl:

Yikes!!! I am deliberating putting a tree up this year as its the first time in years I have a cat to keep me company. He is into everything already that moves/glitters.....I think it might be the same scene of tree carnage at mine too! God love em :)

With three seven month kittens we haven't even managed to keep any cards standing up for more than a couple of hours !

the tree is behind the 2 seater sofa so we cant see the bottom of it but know when the codster is at it coz the fairy develops epilepsy :rofl:
He is shut in the kitchen through the night anyways so its should be safe enough at night...or else i dont think it would have been in one piece !!
I just now i'm gonna get a shock when i find metalic poops in the liter tray though..its bound to happen ! :rofl:

Oh Lynn, Codster looks as though he was having great fun. I could take the georgeous Cody of your hands for a while and i would happily let him play with my christmas tree he he he :sneaky: :sneaky: :sneaky: :sneaky: :) :) :) He could just go his holidays for a while

i go out this evening for 2 hours, come back to a very dishevelled tree and hubby tells me cody has had it knocked over twice !!! >:(

no kitty they were wanting him to be there on the 27th which would have meant travelling on the 26th and really pretty much ruining xmas day...think he will be travelling on and not before the 28th after me going off my head...however it does mean i now willl spend another new year sitting in on my own and not seeing anyone and being totally depressed, ive not done that for a couple of years but all the times i have done it its been sooooooo pants !! cant even go visiting coz kids will be in bed !

Couldn't he develop an upset stomach that lasts until about 2 Jan?. Then again when my daughter was a child I always had her birthday of work, one year I knew many folks were off that week so I didn't ask as I already knew the answer, so I had a bad stomach that day. Two days later I received my judgement, I got flu (you know the real flu where you cannot move, not a cold that some folks call flu) and was off work for 3 weeks.

No if he didnt go they'd have to find someone else to cover the ops manager for this 2 wks and being as dh really wants this job long term its a perfect oportunity for him and kind of silly if he didnt do it..got to show the company how keen and enthusiastic he is and then use the 2 wks to show how great he is in that job !!! still a pain in the butt though given the time of year. I guess the ops manager must be going on hols or something but as always in the oil industry they always have such short bloomin notice !
i was in a right sulk last night but i know he'd be silly not to go, altho that dont make me any happier with him going !

OH Lyn - I did the same thing took a photo when it was first done - I had to use Paul's as my bettery is flat, but i left it on and that one's flat too :innocent: :innocent:
I was whinging about the state of the tree and Paul said " Well at least you have a photo of it looking nice" :rofl: :rofl: :rofl: Poor tree can't wait to get back in the loft.

Daisy and Ebony are taking it in turns to shred the tinsel and whack the beads of my tree, they in league against me so it seems :rofl: I came down this morning a bit later than usual and Daisy was in the process of getting herself ready for trials with Newcastle United (who else lol after all she is black and white) by practising her ball skills with my very lovely , not cheap , new baubles!!!
Nothing to do but admire her ball control really :rofl:

I've relented and decided I've got to have a tree up. It's been up for an hour and a half and so far Mosi has shown no interest in it! Think he's a bit distracted by the other stuff that's been moved around to make room for it. I'm waiting to see how he reacts before I decide whether to put the lights on it. It's looking a bit sad with no lights, no tinsel and rather the worse for wear after years of being Magpie'd but it's a tree and it's up! ;D
