Title: ONLY LIVED IN GARDEN 2O YRS
Post by: Ela on October 25, 2007, 18:12:53 PM
I have received a phone call to bring in a stray cat, I asked if they were sure it was a stray. I was told Oh! yes it has been living in the garden for 20 yrs.

Sounds like a bit of TLC is definitely needed.

AWWWW the poor baby - how could he been living there 20 years???  didn't nobody bother to take him in?

At least someone can take him in now and get him out of this nasty cold weather, and give him some love. xxxxxx

What an amazing cat. Living rough for 20 years! Is he/she being taken in by the CPL then, Ela? I'd love to see pictures of him/her. :)

It sounds like the cat is now poorly and needs some attention. Poor baby. Imagine the sub-zero nights it had to suffer  :'(

I asked about the cats apparent health and the lady said it looked and acted fine, I did say if she though it needed to see a vet to contact me immediately.

I will bring it in as soon as we get a space. I have been think about it all night.  No wonder the not so urgent cats on the list what to wait so long.

If they knew he was there all this time why couldn't they notify earlier!!?? :(

He must be very very old, I hope he will receive warm cozy TLC from someone loving at long last that is worth the lifetime.  Bless him!!

That is what I asked a few times but never received an answer. The good news is hopefully it will be in care later today.
Of course that means another needy cat will have to wait a bit longer.
