my boss is thinking of getting one of those kits where you can train cats to use the loo and asked if anyone I knew had had sucess with it?
-
Here is an instructional video I found in Youtube...I think an extra bathroom (well at least loo for that matter...) is essential, unfortunately we only have one so I don't think it will be very practical...

Anything with the words 'cats' and 'training' in the same sentance would make me dubious :heeee heeee:

I know but she is very keen!! She's got three bathrooms so they will have one to themselves but I'm a bit wary myself!

Well, unless the "training" is done from the cat's part onto human slaves... :evillaugh: :evillaugh:
Actually there are several instructional clips on youtube, have them take a look at them and see if they want to try...

My friend's friend's cat uses the loo. Don;'t think it was trained specially just decided it was a good place to go and now he always uses it

I just snapped this right now, Oliver showed an intense interest in it... hope he has learned something....

However if you watch this clip, you see there is always a certain amount of danger involved... :evillaugh:

I looked into these when before i picked up Leo.
I watched lots of vids on them & to me it looks really un-natural.. some of the cats are trying to scrape around the toilet & I think it must be somewhat confusing for them.
I decided against it.. & opted for the Litter tray !
