Well on the advice of my vet and a lady at CPL for a few days i had to give pippin whiskas supermeat mixed with lactol,
She was having chicken supermeat but i thought she must be getting bored of the same flavour so yesterday i got a multi pack of it and gave her some tuna flavoured food after a couple of hours of her eating it she was sick again, Could she be allergic to the fish flavoured food??
I know that whiskas supermeat isnt one of the best qualitys of food but i would much rather have a healthy kitten because she does keep the chicken flavoured one down, I also realise that she is really young and should be on kitten food but i was advised of my vets that it is too rich for her.
Thanks

a lady I work with has problems with sickness if her cat has fish flavoured food
-
Thanks for that now i atleast know that its not just pippin,
Ill be sticking to the chicken flavoured one and hope she doesnt get bored of it, I think i would if i was fed the same thing everyday

Bertie can't have fish flavoured food as it's high in magnesium and he has struvite (bladder) crystals, which are aggravated by too much magnesium - so probably not the end of the world if you avoid it!
-
No not at all! No more fish for her
Oh yes another question does anyone know what is in the 'original' whiskas supermeat as it it says is meat and animal derivatives
-
Kocka couldnt eat tuna flavoured food cos it made her ill but salmon and trout was just fine

I have heard a few cats be sick after eating fish flavour food, and I know people who dont recommend it, as fish isn't what cats would naturally eat, and for cats with bladder issues, it isn't good.
Not sure with the original flavour supermeat though am afraid, but I think they might also do a rabbit flavour (could be imagining that though, if I remember in Asda on Sat I will check).

Who knows, its a lucky dip depending what bits they have left over!

Went to morrisons just now and got the rabbit flavour one so she will be having some for tea

How did she get on with the rabbit flavour?
-
She got on fine with it thanks she kept it down nicely and looked like she really enjoyed it,
Since she has been having supermeat she eats slowly instead of cleaning her bowl within 5 mins.
Yeah it isnt the best food but atleast she can keep it down ;D
