Aw bless em Michelle they are indeed long haired....also something very special as are all the cats  ;)

I meant pedigree
and i 100% agree ALL cats are special - infact i prefer moggies anyway

I thought full persians had flatter faces? Gah, Pickle is still on the special needs page.

They are persians, not all have flat face . there was something on TV few years ago about them and bulldogs that some breeders try to breed them in certain ways!!! So they get really flat face which makes it harder for them to breath :(, Aparently its more popular or they make more money? Dont remember exactly, i switched the TV off >:(

I believe they're called "open faced" persians. And, yes, the "ultra" faced ones do have breathing difficulties. In America, there's a breed called a "Peke faced" Persian which is the extreme of the look. They aren't a recognised breed over here, I think because of the respiratory aspect.

I'm sure my persian fountain of knowledge Gillian will know far more than me! I'm still learning.

Oh and I meant to say, those two are lovely. I'd have them in an instant if OH would let me. Oooh another blue persian!

They are unusual looking but lovely too. 

I looked at a few others on that website and little gracie looks so sweet curled up in a ball.  They say she was found in a hedge and is quite frail, just wanting to sleep....bless her little paws  :Luv:
