I went to take homing pictures today. I keep calling the tortie (or calico?) Elsie but thats wrong. Sharn told me, then I met Sharon this afternoon and she told me again but can't remember. Anyway, Juno is approx 8 months and a motor purrer and friendly with people but attacked a rottweiler (honestly!)
The girl is approx 7 years according to the vet but we think she is quite a bit older. She had a nasty abcess under her chin which has been seen to although still looks quite sore. Very affectionate old girl probably thrown out for being poorly :'(
-
aww there gorgeous, the tortie looks a bit like my kitty :'( i never sore many cats that looked like her untill now, Since she hasnt been here everywere i seem to look theres cats that look like her
-
such beautiful babies :Luv: :Luv:
-
aww, fingers crossed they arent waiting long.
-
Sharn said the tortie won't go inside in the warm but sits on the platform all the time - she is desperate for some affection :'(
-
Aww, that is so sad.
-
Poor little girl, maybe she also doent understand being inside :(
-
Yep - probably true :(
-
Her name is Alice.
Who the :censored: is Alice :evillaugh:

:-)
-
Awww that is sad that she wont go in the warm :( poor tortie baby.
Juno looks like Cheese :Luv:
-
Took Alice to the vets today to have her wound looked at as its still not healed properly. No gunk but still a bit sore looking :( - He gave her a shot of Convenia and her 1st jabs. The problem is, She still won't go in the warm bed area and Sharn is worried now it is getting cold. She craves human attention. Apart from crying in the car, she purred non stop in the vets, despite there being 2 dogs and 2 pups in the waiting room. She even purred while she had her temperature done and jabs :Luv: - She pooed in the cage on the way back - and it's 8 miles
Anyway, I don't know whether to contact Catchat in Sharon's absence - She is going to get very cold. Sharn keeps trying to put her in the warm area but she run straight out again :(
Juno is still there and he is such a happy & affectionate boy - Sharn said he is definately part bengal with his pointed face. He hasn't even had one person look at him :( - He looks a bit like Dawn's Cheese ;D - If someone saw him in the flesh, they would fall in love I know it but being black its hard for him (don't know why, I will have black every time :Luv: )
Edit - I had forgotten you said Juno looks like Cheese before Dawn  - How weird
-
I spoke to Sally about Alice. She said there are a couple being rehomed this weekend so they will try to Jiggle spaces so Alice is in a home with human company. She may end up at Paula's where she would have a huge bathroom with underfloor heating :Luv: (hope so ;D )
-
I think id just shut her in the indoor area overnight, a warm bed may change her mind
-
You can't lock the flap - also the litter tray is in the bottom part of the pen. I think it would only upset her :(
-
Oh Mark Alice is beautiful....hope something turns up for her soon :Luv:
-
Some worrying news :(
Went to collect Alice for her routine jabs this afternoon. When I got there, Sharn said Sharon had called and a lady wanted to see her but didn't have transport (the cattery is rural) so would I be able to to take her there after her vet trip. We thought I could do a homecheck at the same time and if everything went well and the lady had all she needed, possibly even leave her there. She has been in an outside pen for months without a single viewing :(
The vet checked how her abcess was healing. I told him what we planned to do so he said he would clean up her wound as there was matted fur etc. I went to the car to get her card that I had forgotten. When I got back, the vet had cleaned her up but showed me the wound and there is still a lump :(. He said there could be secondary infection or something else that I've forgotten the name of, basically a reaction to the antibiotics or something else. He said there is a chance she could have a tumour and wanted to keep her in for a biopsy tomorrow :'(
Poor Alice - she has had such a rotten time. 1st living under a car until someone reported her. Then months in an outside pen where she wouldn't go inside - although she has recently. We were so hopeful that she would be rehomed today. The vet said it wouldn't be a good idea for someone to view her just in case :'(
Wish this little girl well. I went in feeling really happy but just wanted to cry when I got outside :'(

-
Oh Mark, that is so sad. Sending good vibes tha everything will start to go riight for Alice
-
Good luck Alice
-
Oh no. Alice please get better!
-
poor baby really has been in the wars... :(
-
Hope Alice is all better soon and will find her forever home
-
I just called and they said she is in the recovery room and I need to call back at 3pm to see if she is OK to collect. They said they won't have the biopsy results back from the lab until after the weekend so she will have to go back to the cattery for the time being. I wish she could be at home instead. It makes me feel terrible seeing Kylie stretched out in front of the log fire - I just wish Alice could join her :(
-
Mark, hopefully Alice will be back with you and Kylie before too long. I do hope everything works out for her
-
Unfortunately, she will have to go back to the foster pen. Two of my cats are territorial bullies otherwise I would bring her here >:(
-
I wish little Alice can go to her new home soon. :Luv:
-
poor Alice, this is really sad Mark
-
I just spoke to the vets and they said she has come round from the anaesthetic but thought it would be better if she was kept in another night in the warm as she is not 100%. In the meantime, Sharon is going to speak try to get her a space with an indoor fosterer (may mean swapping over with a young healthy, confident cat :evillaugh: )
The lady that wanted to see her yesterday is going to see another cat, Marcus tonight. If she takes him, Alice can have his space (Lovely warm house, no other animals, in a room with a heated floor :) with Paula who will dote :Luv2: )
-
That would be wonderful cos they say its gonna get very cold ;D
-
Thats what the vet's receptionist said - nice of them to offer the extra night. They don't charge us for overnight care :Luv:
Also buys Sharon some time to sort bed spaces out :evillaugh:
If it comes to it, she can stay in one of my guest rooms until there is space - just worried that Willow will worry her from outside the door - but no way she is going back to an outdoor pen :)
-
poor Alice, hope she gets better soon
-
She is going to stay with me for a few days until there is a space :Luv2:
I need to go to SCATS for wood and there is a PAH there too so I can get a bed & tray for her. So the plan is, I will get there for opening time tomorrow and then pick her up and bring her home.
-
well done mark
-
That's lovely news Mark
-
Aww Mark - lucky you. I think Alice is gorgeous. :)
-
There is also a kitten in the equation now. Long story but someone called tonight saying they had a kitten in their front garden all day but can't get it. I told them it was late and nothing we could do. I asked if he had left food and he had - also a carrier, hoping the kitten would go in. I called Sharon for advice. She said to tempt it with sardines and try to keep it til tomorrow. Then he called me back and said it had climbed into a car engine and was crying. We advised smelly food etc and putting a big notice on the car. As I had emailed everyone on our list, PB emailed and said she would head down in the morning with a trap (this is in the centre of Canterbury). I phoned her and told her the latest. She said if it was a domestic kitten, she wouldn't be able to sleep as it wouldn't stand a chance. The last I know, PB was heading off in her pink car to try to rescue the kitten (this was around 10.30pm). It happens to be opposite where I am going in the morning so if she can't catch it, I will have a go too. Drop kitten of at Animal House vets in Herne Bay, collect Alice and make her comfy. Then OH will come home from work and say the house is a mess :evillaugh:
The man is a cat lover so is keeping vigil - hope this works out well.
-
Hope it goes well for PB and she finds it...........I think its gone very cold tonight, poor little thing.
-
Good for you Mark helping out little Alice :)
And hope the wee one is caught soon, it's starting to get very cold up here !!!
-
Kitten update.
The man who reported her is a star. Julie tried to catch her without luck and told the man to phone her if he had any luck. He phoned at 2.30am and said he had caught her! ;D (Luckily Julie and Adrian who reported are both off work today!) Julie got the full story. He had been trying to catch her all day. He phoned the RSPCA and was told "It's warm the kitten will be fine " >:( . He had also printed and distributed 150 leaflets ;D - out of desperation he searched the internet which led him to catchat where he got the CP number. Anyway, Julie is going to look after her for now. She is about 5 - 6 weeks old and must have got separated from mum somehow :'(
-
Typical of the RSPCA, probably find they've moved their Call Centre to India - it would be warm there.
-

-
Well I picked Alice up and she is safely installed in her own 5 star suite (the attic suite :evillaugh: )
She has polished off 1.5 pouches of kit-e-kat, 1 pouch of whiskas senior and a handful of Hill's oral care. I have a hoard of food Clapton wouldn't eat and it is being put to good use. I was going to donate it to CP anyway :evillaugh:
They told me a very tired Julie dropped the kitten off before I arrived. I didn't see her as I was busy dealing with Alice and an elderly man dumping his sister's cat at the vets (on another thread)
Anyway, I have given her a radio. She hid for a while but with a full belly, she became a big purr-head and was headbutting me like mad. I am giving her a while to calm down. The other cats are annoyed. Willow greeted me at the door and spat at Alice, Kylie appeared and is sniffing round.
Anyway, they have cut the other lump out and stitched Alice's neck up.
She will be warm, well fed and comfortable here :Luv2:
-
Well done Mark, another one safe and warm.
-
The kitten rescued by PB like night is now with Caroline our fosterers. She is black and we have called her Luna.. She has a minor injury, very hungry and prob around 6wks old or so...
-
I did't get to see her at Animal House - If I can make the meeting tomorrow........... :evillaugh:
Otherwise, I will have to nip over for a coffee next week ;D
-
Fingers crossed for everyone, and I really hope Alice being at yours doesn't cause any issues for your cats Mark.
-
She is up in the attic. There is a door, then a flight of stairs before you get up there. Willow spat at her but I think she has forgotten now :evillaugh:
There wasn't much choice in the matter really. She needed to be in the warm and mine was the only available place. Sheis getting what I normally charge £95 a night for :evillaugh:
-
I have spent a fair bit of time with her. She does not stop purring and rubbingup against me and anything else in the room. Her tail is constantly waving around - what's that about? - she's not angry :Luv2:
I laid down on the bedroom floor and within 5 minutes, was shown the belly and invited to stroke - She trusts me already ;D
When I go up to the attic, he little head is looking round the bannister and when I go back down, she sees me half way down ;D
The more I see her, the younger she looks :Luv2:
So different t the hunched up cat that wouldn't go in her pen. I just wish I could spend more time with her. She is hungry for affection - amazing that she lived under a car for a year :(
Will get some more pics soon
-
Aww, bless her. How long will she be with you?
-
Not sure - she has to go back to the vets in 9 days, although we will get the result of the biopsy early next week
(shhhh OH thinks its for 2 or 3 days :evillaugh: )
I am trying not to get too attached. 1. Because I can't keep her, 2. I'm worried about the result - although they have done some drastic surgery this time. Her face is stitched from her neck to top of her cheek. She doesn't seem to be in any pain though :tired: - she is a happy little soul. :Luv2:
-
Bless her - will they not be juggling to find her a space elsewhere?
-
Tht's the idea but indoor spaces are very limited and usually kept for injured, sick cats or kittens. I am already getting attached toher. I spent some more time up there and laid on the floor - she fell asleep on me :Luv2:
I keep putting her on the bed but she jumps down. I don't think she has ever slept on a bed or chair :( - she is learning quickly though - she just stayed on the bed this time - except when I went to leave - she follows me like a lamb :Luv2:
-
And more
-
She is lovely and looks like she is learning to like it there ;D
-
Kitten update. Kitten is now a caroline's ;D
She is OK and will be sleeping with Caroline's little boy Dominic ;D
Also, she possibly has a home lined up ;D ;D
-
She is lovely and looks like she is learning to like it there ;D
I wish I could keep her but probably not possible - she is settling in really well. I know she just needed a lap and had enough of the outdoor life :Luv2:
She is wrapping me round her paws though. So far, 4 pouches, Hills Dry, PAH dry and roast pork :Luv2:
One snag - she has worms  - will sort it tomorrow as I don't have any Drontal.
I can't believe she has been waiting months :(
-
Not too much of a snag , cos meds should get rid of em.............ummm snag could be getting the meds in her :evillaugh:
-
Not too much of a snag , cos meds should get rid of em.............ummm snag could be getting the meds in her :evillaugh:
Caroline said I am a lightweight and she will come and do it :evillaugh: (she is a nurse :evillaugh: )
She has wiped her bum on my cream carpet and there is a brown mark
(Alice, not Caroline :evillaugh: )
-
She is so beautifull. I think it meant to be for her to go to the vet so you go to pick her up and save the old mans , sister cat which was dumped there. Did i make any sense? I dont think so its been a long day.
But may be you should keep her, she is gorgeous. :Luv:
-
Paula dropped a Milbemax tab through the lettebox early this morning which she took in her food easily ;D - Does anyone know how lond it will take for he belly to go down? She looks quite uncomfortable although she doesn't stop purring. Even when she eats :Luv2:
OH is besotted as well - she worked her magic headbutting etc :Luv2:. Unfortunately, we have nowhere to keep her in the new year when the B&B reopens. Even if we don't reopen. We can't keep her shut up in the attic forever :(
-
Mark, sometimes, when we really want something to happen... we just kinda make it happen ;)
Alice is beautiful. xx
-
Mark, sometimes, when we really want something to happen... we just kinda make it happen ;)
:sneaky: well said Ruth :evillaugh:
Mark, stop with the "we cant" and replace with "maybe we can try" :evillaugh:
-
OH is adamant that we already have enough trouble with 3 cats and introducing a 4th won't work. He has just gone up to the attic "to read" - I know she will settle down on him up there/ I just spent the last hour with her and she curled up on me and didn't stop purring :Luv2:
Paula, one of the fosterers said that she has someone viewing the cat she has at the moment (the lady that was going to see Alice) and the plan is, if the lady takes her cat, Alice will go to her. I need to work quickly. I asked her if we should try proper introductions etc before giving up. She thinks it's a good idea ;D
-
I personally think your OH is right Mark, you know that Willow's probs are territorial, and adding one more cat into the mix wouldnt be fair on her, and you said on the first thread 2 of yours are bullies, and that isn't fair on poor Alice. I think her going to Paula's might be the best option.
-
Going to Paula's is only a stopgap as she is a fosterer. I think we need to think long & hard about Willow if she is the problem. There is no harm in trying before passing poor Alice on.
-
At least she wont be at risk of being beat up or causing your cats stress MArk. You keep thinking long and hard about Willow though, and you aren't willing to do anything, so I dont think you should try with Alice, poor Willow doesn't need another cat in her home.
-
Pleased to say Alice's belly has gone down :Luv:
She followed me down the attic stairs today - opened the door a bit and Willow was there. Surprisingly, Willow did not react at all. I held the door open a bit so they could see each other but avoid contact. Alice hissed a bit but Willow wasn't bothered  - I held the door for a minute so they could see each other then closed the door. I half expected Willow to be aggressive with me but she was fine and rolling on her back etc :Luv2:
Alice is also doing a lot of belly showing. I will take it a bit at a time and see what happens :Luv2:
-
Glad that her belly is down, but I still dont think keeping her is an option - while Willow didn't seem bothered by her, she could still spray if another cat is introduced to her environment.
-
Maybe Willow likes other girl cats?
-
She doesn't like Kylie :evillaugh:
Last spring. There was a cat a had to collect on the quick. Maybe some people remember him? - I had to keep him in the kitchen for a few hours and it didn't bother her. Kylie is a big bridge to cross. Anyway, we are being realisitic and it it doesn't work, sobeit. We have decided that at least we will keep her as a foster rather than her going to another foster before rehoming. In the meantime I can try intro's - if it doesn't work, she is safe and happy in the attic suite. She even greets us when we go up with croaky meow. She has a bed, a chair with a mothercare baby blanket I got yesterday, a whole bedroom with ensuite and a landing & staircase to move around :Luv2: - OH is pretending to resist keeping her but decided to sleep in the attic last night "to finish a book" - but seemed quite happy that Alice snuggled up all night :Luv2:
-
oh right , i thought the others were male ;D
sounds like a love affair in the making
-
I love that...."I'm staying in the attic to read a book!" Really(!) Glad Alice is doing well, I think she's a lovely looking girl. :Luv:
Also, the man that helped Luna renewed my faith in human nature. Staying up until all hours to catch her - what a nice guy!
-
Have I missed another thread - I don't remember mentioning Luna's name  - Did PB post something? (Losing the plot here  )
-
Glad that her belly is down, but I still dont think keeping her is an option - while Willow didn't seem bothered by her, she could still spray if another cat is introduced to her environment.
But its worth trying - you never know !! Cats are strange things.
I wouldnt say give up before even trying xx
-
Hehe! I know everything.... :shify:
The kitten rescued by PB like night is now with Caroline our fosterers. She is black and we have called her Luna.. She has a minor injury, very hungry and prob around 6wks old or so...
Just so you know you aren't losing the plot! :)
-
Thanks JS - I was wondering if you were a spy :evillaugh:
Latest is. We went out for Sunday lunch. Just took Alice's lunch up. 5 mins later, OH appeared with laptop to do some work in the attic :shify:
Then he said to Alice "I think Mark wants to keep you Alice, he will have to close the B&B down as there won't be enough room otherwise" :shify:
-
Ohhhhhhhhhhh myyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
-
:blow kiss: Isn't Unca Mark the bestest? think Alice would agree :agree:
I too agree that you should try at least. You never know Willow and Alice may become best friends and maybe that's just what Willow needs, a comrade.
-
:blow kiss: Isn't Unca Mark the bestest? think Alice would agree :agree:
Thanks Ruth :shy: :naughty:
We posted about each other's cats about 30 seconds apart :evillaugh:
That's what I am hoping. I have over a week to work this out. I cleared it with Sharon that we will at least foster her rather than moving her to another fosterer. She is due for a check up in 8 days so not available for viewing until at least then. I just wish I didn't have workmen in this week to try introductions with some peace & quiet.
-
:evillaugh: I just read your update on the other thread. Its not often these little uns make themselves at home in our hearts. :Luv2:
-
You never know Willow and Alice may become best friends and maybe that's just what Willow needs, a comrade.
What Willow needs is a home where shes centre of attention, another cat lounging on her dads lap isnt going to her impress her.
We all have our limits within a multicat household and really the charity decision makers should be looking at this in a practical manner.
If someone they didnt know came in and said we have 3 cats and one persistantly soils the house but we would like another they wouldnt jump into it with them. :shy: :shy:
-
I agree MM, I wouldnt home a cat in that situation either.
-
I think you both may be doing textbook assessments of my situation. As I said, I WILL TRY. There is no harm in that. I am around 24/7 and would not risk any harm coming to any of them. Willow is well aware of her existence and isn't fazed (she normally runs into the attic if I open the door but is holding back but isn't getting prickly). Every time I give her a fuss, I make sure all the other cats get a sniff of my hand etc. I am doing things slowly, exchanging scents at the moment. As much as I want to keep her, I will always do what is best for the cats and I feel I am being judged here.
At the moment, she has her own suite and no contact with the other cats. There were no other indoor foster places available and she was miserable and going downhill in the cattery. I will try careful introductions and if it doesn't work, she will remain available. She lived under a car for a year and I think she needs nurturing which I am able to do. Bearing in mind she was already in the cattery for 3 months without a single viewing, she is in the best possible place at the moment.
I won't be posting any more updates regarding Alice.
-
I agree with Mark. Everyone should realise that we each are familiar with our own circumstances and whilst Mark may have vented his frustration with Willow on here it is by no means an indication that he doesn't love her or the others.
He has said he will try this, at the very least to give Alice a chance. This is a special girl and Mark would never put her in any harm. Many of our members have rescue and foster experience but that does not make any of us the expert of what goes on in Mark's home.
Let's give him the support he needs now.
-
Thanks Ruth
Just one more thing I need to add. Sharon is well aware of the situation and said Alice comes first and if the perfect home comes along, Alice can't be denied the chance which I fully agree with.
-
I think you have done a wonderful thing Mark and I know how easy and how quickly you can get attached to these "temporary" cats. Alice had no where else to go and you offered her warmth and comfort.
As you say, it is worth a try and I know you will do what is best for all the cats - and sometimes things do work out when you least expect it.
Good luck Mark.
-
Thanks Lesley - It's purely selfish on my part :evillaugh:
-
I hope this works out for you Mark, sounds like this poor girl needs a suite of her own to make up for living under a car for so long!
-
I posted on the health section an update on her biopsy with good and bad news :(
She isn't in immediate danger but will need regular check ups. I just went and had a cuddle with her.
http://www.purrsinourhearts.co.uk/index.php?topic=9875.0
-
Mark, I really think you are the best hun :Flowers: :cuddle: I would give Alice a try, it won't hurt and you never know Willow might just like her :Luv: I have a couple of Sooty's, a mini Soot and a Big Soot.......they can be little :censored: but only with certain cats and each other. Not all cats dislike every cat, they are like humans and sometimes we like people and sometimes we don't. She sounds as if she's really wormed her way into your heart and I for one, would give her a go. If things don't work out, at least you've tried. I'm praying that this little one has already found her place, you sound as if you are totally besotted with her and she with you,  Good luck and everythings crossed here that things work out, xxxxxx
-
Aw, well done Mark, and I hope everything works out .......... even if it doesn't, bless you for trying
-
I won't be posting any more updates regarding Alice.
Mark, you know your cats, and we have no right dictating what is right and what is wrong in your situation.....go for it sunshine, and please, please keep us posted, I for one am over the moon that Alice has found at least for the time being, the best home she can. And when it all works out and everyone's happy, you can turn round and say "I told you so :bum: " :cheeky: ;)
-
definately agree with Dawn's point Mark make sure you keep us informed!
-
We all have our limits within a multicat household and really the charity decision makers should be looking at this in a practical manner.
If someone they didnt know came in and said we have 3 cats and one persistantly soils the house but we would like another they wouldnt jump into it with them. :shy: :shy:
What's the alternative? Let her be stuck in a cold pen or sling her out to live under the car again :sneaky: Mark is a loving, caring individual who loves his cats to bits, I honestly don't think he would even contemplate doing this if he didn't think he was in with a chance. If cats have space, they can and do tolerate each other even if they are not 100% happy with the situation, it doesn't mean everything is going to go to pieces........Willow may surprise us and accept a newbie into the camp. I have the odd little brat, apart from the 2 sooties, I have Smudge and she is a definite mummy's girl but she is fine as long as she has her time with me and she isn't mithered by other cats. Don't try putting him down for doing his best for this one, if everyone in the world was like Mark, the world would be a much nicer place and there wouldn't be as many unhappy, unloved cats out there.
-
Thanks Dawn, Dawn & Clare :shy:
Caroline said she isn't really homeable now due to the chance of recurrence so there aren't many choices left. Caroline says very much like you, she always has a houseful of cats, kittens and dogs and they just have to get on with it as it isn't an ideal world.
When I told OH about her not being rehomeable, he said "She's staying with us then!" ;D
-
I have to say I do understand what MM and Desley meant about the situation regarding Willow. But it does appear the options are limited with regards to Alices rehoming, so I hope things work out.
She really is lovely. :)
-
What's the alternative? Let her be stuck in a cold pen or sling her out to live under the car again
I dont mean in regards to fostering in a separate room until a home is found.
I dont see the point of exacerbating an already tense problem
Don't try putting him down for doing his best for this one
But what about Willow? And the other 2 who live in a house that must smell to them.
If a behavioural issue exists with 2 how is adding a 3rd going help :Dont know:
You have already said how you dont see the point of paying a behaviouist to tell you what you already know. :Dont know: :loon:
-
I personally wouldnt say she was unhomeable due to it - to pinch Ela's phrase, no cat is unhomeable. Instead, I woudl be upfront with people, and say that any vets bills relating to it would be covered.
-
I admire you Mark xxx you are giving the lovely Alice a chance to know love and happiness which a lot of people would not do with her medical problems - I really hope it works out.
Big  for Marks OH too
-
Please let us know how things go, I am wishing for it to be a success. ;D
I know from my four that strange things happen. Misa hates Franta but Franta keeps getting on Misas desk and they both go to sleep, Sasa hates being close to me but keeps coming a tiny bit closer to tell me she wants to play.
Time can heal and maybe Willow just wants a friend of her very own ;D
-
Hopefully I will be doing tentative intros tomorrow. Bearing in mind that Alice hates the cage, I'm not sure how to play it so will have to make sure it's done carefully. She is coming out of her shell and actually started playing with her rush ball :Luv2: - she is eating really well and her face is scabbing well  - She like to spend most of her time under the bed - not in a scared way though. If you lie on the bed, she hops up on top :Luv2: - very odd that she purrs non-stop but flicks her tail all the time - mix signals  - anyway, OH is besotted with her which is a big help ;D ( he had a calico growing up :evillaugh: )
-
Glad I re-read Wizz's advice. To shut Willow In the dining room (I will wait until she is sleeping in there later) and let Alice have a wander round and take it from there. Naturally I will put her back before Willow is freed.
I took OH to the station this morning and said I was in 2 minds about taking a 3-night booking mid-december as it would interfere with intros and also couldn't trust a new cat loose in the house as some people leave the front door open (annoyingly). Dennis said that with 4 cats, doing B&B is out of the question going forward. I am going to look into going back to a regular job in the new year ;D
-
Mark, Dennis sounds fab!
-
See, I told you things could work out unexpectedly. It could be that taking Alice in has changed your life in other ways ;D, hopefully for the better in your opinion.
-
Aw! Hope you still take houseguests (who make their own beds!) so we can all come visit and see your babies! :naughty:

As long as they. Wash & iron the sheets. Clean thoroughly, including disinfecting door handles etc (my old cleaner said I have OCD :evillaugh: ) and cook their own breakfast and wash up ........yes :evillaugh:

Book me in for a night in January then! BUt you will have to clean your own door handles! :innocent:

That was a dealbreaker :evillaugh:
btw - Alice had her first mooch around. Willow was asleep in the dining room so I closed the door. Alice was not at all shy investigating the house - She seemed to know exactly where Willow had peed in the past despite thorough simple solution use :evillaugh: She even went to the basement (and she's on the 3rd floor!). After investigating, on her way back, she was scent marking banisters etc (with her face - luckily! :evillaugh: )
Later, Willow & Clapton were sniffing round but all seems fine. OH said hopefully Willow won't start peeing again (she hasn't for the last few weeks since I stopped taking guests)

Oh Mark that's fab!! Maybe that's been the problem...too many strangers in her house? If you aren't doing B&B anymore then this may be the one thing to make her happy! :naughty:

Well I let Willow & Alice see eachother a couple of times. Alice hissed but Willow didn't do anything. I went to go downstairs again and Alice got past me and ran along the hall. Again Alice hissed & mieowed and ran away. Willow just sat there and there was no aggression at all. Hopefully, this is looking good - although we still have bruiser Kylie to deal with :-:
