Title: Another stray just handed in.
Post by: Dawn (DiddyDawn) on October 18, 2007, 15:47:02 PM
Just had a lady drop off a gorgeous tortie/white girl.  Only looks quite young and possibly pregnant  :tired:  She's been hanging round in her garden for a while and she said the last few days, she appears to have "blossomed".  I'm hoping she isn't but I'll get Sean to give her the once over to make sure.  I'll take some piccies of her later, she seems very friendly and I'm sure if no one claims her, she won't have any problems finding a home.  Names please  :evillaugh:

Had to return this little girl to where she came from this morning, I checked her last night and she was full of milk.  I had her in the vets this morning to double check that she had already given birth and she had.  Fingers crossed her kittens will have survived the night and that she'll continue looking after them.  I've asked the lady to continue feeding her and to try and find out where she goes, once we know we can get her again.  Her kittens have only just been born according to the vets, possibly within the last 24/48 hours, fingers crossed it's not too late for them.

Hope the kittens are OK. :) My mums torti is called Blossom!

So is the plan to leave her in the care of this lady until her kittens can be found?

Once we know where they are, she'll ring me and I'll get them all sorted.

Update on this babe

The kittens have been found  :yayyy:  They are living under a bush in another neighbours garden, all are doing well, apparently there were 4 but there's now only 3.  The mum couldn't really have picked a worse garden, the owner doesn't like cats at all and won't put food out or anything for them but she's quite happy for me to go round with the trap and get them.  I'm not sure how old but she reckons about 6 weeks old.  Mum has turned into a little minx and is very protective although she was very sweet whilst she was here overnight  :sneaky:  I'm going over later with the trap and hopefully, fingers crossed I'll get the kittens.  The mum will be round at the other ladies for tea later so if I have a problem getting her, she can be got later today if I've caught all the kittens that is  :tired:
