luna and mango but especially luna always has a runny bum  every time they use the litter they have to have there bum showered cause of the poo running off it
i have tried many meats and stuck with them
mango wasnt like this on jwb dry shall i go back to it full time cause its now getting me down
they are not at all ill its been going on for scince i came off the dry full time
my worry is they should be also on meat as its better for them kidneys and stuff
what do you think
i normally feed them 2-3 times a day but with the dry should i leave it down all the time
its a prob cause if they have a poo when im not here then sit somewere there leaving poo trails behind >:( and i have a nice home and young children , not hygenic

Have you tried a probiotic? Lacto b is excellent for sorting out runny poos. That's assuming there's not a medical cause that needs treating.
I'll move this to health and behaviour for you.
-
When did this start? Was it all three or one and then it spread? When did you change food? Why did you change food?
Can you give us a nice big story so we can try to help and advise.

What wet foods have you tried out of interest?

Swapping foods can also upset stomachs. I second the use of a probotic powder, it sorts spike out and he can leave some stinky offerings

where do i get the prebiotic powder from ?
vet said they are fine and said to use a prebiotic yogort but it ant worked
they havnt got really runny poo its just its not hard and then it runs down there bum
i have tried all wet food and the best one i have fond is natures menu but there still a bit loose , i have found changing there food makes them worse and have stuck wi wm for 1-2 wk
the worst one was felix and whiskers and they were like black runny poo  and it stunk
i have not tried appleyards
i have decided to leave jwb down all the time and split on poch between them at morn and night
today there poo has firmed up ever so slightly
its not watery and black its sticky and brown ( sorry guys )
Luna has always been like thos and came to me on whiskers meat and mango started when i took her off jwb and gave just meat
so im hopeing that manly jwb and a little natures menu will sort em out
then i will see if i can introduce 50/50 as i know more wet is better than more dry
what do u thinkj to this approch - mi vet ses there fine and im sure he thinks im overprotective after mangos probs but he dunt have to shower them every day

I think that you should settle on a wet food and biscuits and stick to it, not for a week or two but always and if what they are eating now is working do not change it again ;D
-
I had same problems with kitty when i got her as i got her from a rescue and was not informed what she had been eating so obviously as i didnt know i changed her diet after a couple of weeks of persavering with it the diahrea went away,
She is now on a diet of both wet and dry she has a pouch in the morning and one in the evening and biscuit down all day and night.
Hope they get better soon
-
luna has just been to the toilett and runs all down her back legs so i rang the vet and he said stick wi the diet now and has given some paste for her to help settle her tummy , i think she needs this now
poor baby , i hope she just isnt a cat wi dicky tum , why do i always get probs
-
She didnt use to be like this though did she?

Vet uk (use a rescue link!) sell pro texin pro soluble probiotic powder which is the one i use and theres lacto b that other people use.
Stick with what your doing, start the probiotic and see how they go.
Swapping every 1-2 weeks isnt a good idea.
The other thing is to trim the trousers, thats what happens to taz, no more skid marks.
Do dodgy stomachs pass on to offspring? Something to think about.

I buy lacto b from here
http://www.petmeds.co.uk/Lacto-B
Do you mean a probiotic or a prebiotic? Lacto b is a probiotic and don't think it contains a prebiotic. If I remember rightly (and I may not) a probiotic is friendly bacteria while a prebiotic is something which encourages the gut to produce more of the friendly bacteria itself.

Then a powdered probiotic should work great. It works out cheaper than a tube at £7 ;)
