It's been a year this month since I lost the last of my ferret "business." Odin was a lovely lad, and was one of the most placid ferrets I'd ever met. Hopefully, he, Mally and Zorro are having as much fun where they are now as they did when they used to play together here!

So Sorry for your Loss
These Futretts have such cheeky characters :Luv: :Luv: (and sharp teeth ;))
my mate has 4 of them

They really do. Mally was the first arrival - I was on placement at "that place" and they got inundated. They said they were going to contact other rescues, but if noone had space they'd have to consider alternate solutions. As soon as I heard that Mally had a reserve put on her. (I had a week to organise a hutch, food, toys etc!)
Zorro arrived next as a companion and I was contacted by the rescue lady when she got Odin (formerly Harold but we didn't think it suited him.) brought in. He brought the girls out of season each year. Zorro was a nippy nightmare, but was such a cutie that you couldn't stay mad at her for long - the other two never really bit that much. I do miss having them around, but my cats are getting older and I don't feel I'd be able to give the little critters the attention they needed as well as making sure the cats got enough fuss! I love the name "futretts" by the way!

Aww I’m sorry sweetie.
I love ferrets and Snowball out of my first two had such personality. She loved moving things into her corners and heaven forbid if you moved anything. When I think of her I can still remember how she’d put her head on my foot to comfort me. Her and her friend Captain both died of cancer 6 years ago they were amazing friends and I still miss them both.
My other ferret Kaos is living it up with the lady who fostered my cats in the US while they were getting ready to fly over, she already had one ferret and adored Kaos, unfortunately at his age I couldn’t put him through the stress of an 8 hour flight + 7 hours for vets & car travel to get him over but he’s in a good home.
